Artist team Walter Hugo & Zoniel recently surprised the city of Toxteth, Liverpool by installing this massive psychedelic aquarium tank behind a shutter in an old, abandoned building. The piece, titled The Physical Possibility of Inspiring Imagination in the Mind of Somebody Living, was developed with the support of the Gazelli Art House in London and as part of the Liverpool Biennial.
Architect Zaha Hadid was recently awarded the 2014 Design of the Year from London’s Design Museum, specifically for the stunning Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan. The project is not only the first architectural design to win this prestigious honor, but Hadid is also the first woman to receive the prize.

from the bio of Diana Beltrán Herrera:
"After graduating from her BA degree in industrial Design at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in 2010, Herrera realized that she wasn't interested in pursuing a design practice as a life career, as she was more interested in the theories of understanding of nature and material as an element that exist around us and is present in an everyday routine. For Herrera, there is a considerable distance in the relationship between human and nature, and throughout her work, she aims to repair this relation by producing elements that are constantly removed, altered and forgotten. Her work is presented as a resistance where those sculptures remain in an ideal state and act like a model of representation of a reality that doesn't suffer any change."
