This has got to be my favorite Zayn quote ever. Especially during the band to solo transition. It encapsulates all the bottled up feelings & creativity he had to endure during that five years. Imagine being an artist but not being able to paint.

It must’ve been liberating for him when he released Mind of Mine, there’s pressure to do well but also a weight off his shoulders knowing that he shared his artistic and musical capability to the world.

Now we are on album 3 and it’s been six years of his solo career. As a fan, it’s not as smooth sailing as we want it to be; but as long as Zayn is happy, comfortable, and content that’s all that matters.
