"Excuse me?" His gaze was directed at the first person he saw walking down the street. "I don’t know where I am. I’m not from here." As he was shoved aside by passersby a scowl appeared on his face. "I just need some help."

The faint chirping of the spring birds and the soft sound of the fallen water from the fountain behind him was the most settling thing to Daehyun, reminding him of his childhood in the very park he was in. A soft sigh left his full lips as he stretched, his arms reaching to the sky before his arms returned back to his pockets, the time on his watch read that lunch break was almost over.

The cool metal coin in his pocket played between his fingers before fishing it out of his pocket, staring at the coin for a moment. To anyone else it was just a simple coin that they wouldn’t hesitate to spend but to Daehyun, it had a bigger fate to fulfill.

“Remember Dae, over the right shoulder for luck.”

A soft smile grew on his lips as the memory of his mother teaching him about the luck of the coin. His thumb brushed against the coin before flicking it behind him. over his right shoulder and into the fountain behind him. “Nae, umma." he whispered to himself, getting up from the edge of the fountain and walking back to the coffee shop to finish the morning’s work.
