Bad Habit
It wasn’t often she had time alone these days. Sure, she distanced herself from people as much as she could, but she couldn’t ever seem to get some people to leave her alone. Not that she minded, but she needed to minimize the damage. But people like Albus just wouldn’t forget about her; he didn’t bug her every second of the day - not even close - , but he wouldn’t save both of them a world of heartache while he could. Classes had just ended for the day and the sun was still out, so she broke free of the walls of the castle to wander the grounds a bit before she met up with Albus at their ‘Usual Spot’. It was weird, having a spot with a person that you two shared. But....they were weird, weren’t they?
He wasn’t, but she was, at any rate.
With a soft sigh, she stepped on the damp ground gingerly so she wouldn’t slip and get mud all down her robe. Even though she was pretty sure Albus would only make fun of her until she was on her death bed - and maybe even then - she couldn’t stand not looking her best when she met up with him. After every full moon and the week leading up to it, she tried with great difficulty to not see him or anyone because she was always so pale, so sickly, and no amount of makeup could hide it, she knew. Without realizing it, she had wandered over to the tree they usually met at and she looked around, knowing she was a bit early. But there he was, coming from wherever he had left, cute as ever.
Gross.
Once he reached the spot, she smirked. “How did your classes go today?”
