the reason why eddie and maddie don’t ever get any scenes together is because the second they started talking one on one they would start a “we love evan buckley” fanclub and just go on and on and on about how awesome buck is and how sweet he is and maddie would be telling eddie all the cute and embarrassing things buck did when he was little and eddie would be telling maddie all the silly and embarrassing things buck does as an adult and they would roll their eyes over all the stupid shit he’s pulled over the years and they would swear a blood oath to each other about being buck protectors together forever and ever
