yesterday i read this article and it just made me so happy

I particularly loved this quote:

which is why i’m vaccinated,

and why i wear a mask, even now,

and why i still socially distance,

and why i hate that people aren’t talking ALL of the necessary precautions

BECAUSE i’m sick of this pandemic

but pretending it’s over doesn’t make it so

and i’m sick of the other type of people saying they’re so sick of the pandemic ACTING like they can just say they’re sick of it and it’ll end

i’m sick of that even being seen as a position

i’m sick of fact that this post is so relatable bc when you say you’re sick of the pandemic, people might assume you mean you’re anti-mask or anti-vax or anti-science
