Hi! Hey! Hello!

I have been working really hard on this fic and want some readers who might be able to give feedback!

I am currently in the early aughts of writing my first ever fic – a post-s3 Good Omens fix-it fic! It is canon-compliant, but I wanted it to move muchhhh slower than it did in the finale and I wanted there to be some more... magical, mysterious, mystical happenings going on. Like…. they’re remembering….. like….. yall. theyre REMEMBERING.

Oh! And Anathema Device is a BIG character. like a HUGE character. (bc I adored her in the book, and I adored her in s1)!! I wanted to do something with her and Agnes’ sequel….. hehehe

I wanted to write something that could cater to those who liked the finale and those who did not (I am a mix of both… and in the school of thought that canon kinda = the book and s1). It seems like it might be a longggg fic, so buckle up! I have lots of plans, and the ending will be lovely and happy (TRUST!!!)

Also, I write with fun little footnotes. I think it is fun for the reader, and reminds me of Ser Pratchett.

Ozone. Spice. Sharp citrus. The sting of a light sunburn. Then, Auburn hair. Amber eyes… like the rising Sun.

Life had been rather simple for Asa Fell and Anthony Crowley – some might even say boring! That is, until now. As the pair stumble into each other’s lives (unbeknownst to any… prior history…) on one seemingly random Saturday, they are faced with flashes of images and words and smells and well, lives, that seem to disappear as fleetingly as they arrived. And thus, a fussy bookseller and a (formerly) fast-living astrophysicist must navigate their developing relationship whilst grappling with something much larger than they could have ever imagined...

For any readers of my fic, A Kind of Magic, y’all know that Anathema has a very big role in the fix-it aspect of the fic! Idk how y’all feel about her and Agnes’ Book in the fic, so I’d love to hear from y’all!!

If there is one thing about me, I’ve gotta be one of Pinterest’s #1 fans. Like there is not much I love more than kicking back and scrolling through Pinterest. Plus, I get great writing inspo from it and I love making moodboards for my fic!!!

So. Last night, I posted the most recent chapter of my fic, A Kind of Magic, in a bit of a post-hip surgery haze. It was beta read and everything BUT I had some special formatting in there that looked GREATTTT from where I was editing, reading, and posting from my computer. HOWEVER! When I woke up this morning to check the fic on my phone, I realized it looked absolutely horrible on it... and it occurred to me that most people are reading fanfic on their phones.

SO NOW IT IS FIXED TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY AND SHOULD LOOK PRETTY DECENT ON THE PHONE!!!

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone who reads it could lmk either on Ao3 OR on here if the formatting looks decent and isn't confusing LOLOLOL!

I actually am getting surgery on Wednesday (NOT A SERIOUS ONE... that was last summer... I have to get the screws out from it). So I'm ALSO out of town visiting my surgeon!

Hurt and comfort is a bit harder to write in my style than I thought it would be... so I'm scared my writing in this one won't be that good... BUT ITS FINE WE PERSEVERE! But yeah uhhhh I hopefully will have it posted by the end of this week!

SO! I was once again Pinterest-ing and came across this post (idk who the OP is, unfortunately):

I ABSOLUTELY see where this association is coming from – Killer Queen absolutely fits Crowley's aesthetic, Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy fits Azi's.

HOWEVER! Let's take a closer look at some lyrics: 1. LOVER BOY – "Dining at the Ritz we'll meet at nine... / Driving back in style in my saloon will do quite nicely / Just take me back to yours that will be fine." OR! "We can do the tango just for two." AND! "Say the word, your wish is my command!"

2. KILLER QUEEN – "She keeps her Moët et Chandon / In her pretty cabinet." AND "Caviar and cigarettes / Well-versed in etiquette / Extraordinarily nice..." OR "Perfume came naturally from Paris (Naturally) / For cars, she couldn't care less / Fastidious and precise..." NOT TO MENTION "Insatiable an appetite.,," CROWLEY IS 100% GOOD OLD-FASHIONED LOVER BOY! Hell, the Bentley even plays it at some point when Crowley is on his way to see Azi. In my recent re-read of the novel, the first time we see our fav Angel and Demon get lunch at the Ritz, it is Crowley who suggested it ("dining at the Ritz"). They drive back "IN STYLE" in Crowley's "SALOON" (Bentley). Crowley also really enjoys going back to Azi's bookshop rather than his own flat. A "tango just for two" could absolutely allude to their Arrangement, which we know Crowley proposed first, and it also means a great deal to him. A "tango just for two" is the life he wants them to lead without Heaven and Hell getting involved. Lastly, we get to "Say the word, your wish is my command:" even though he might feign annoyance, pretend to protest, Crowley really would do (most) anything for Azi. Just look at Hamlet! So yes, I genuinely think this song belongs to Crowley – when it pertains to Aziraphale, at least. NOW, onto why I believe that Azi is 100%, KILLER QUEEN: (lets first pretend that this song is not about a high-class call girl...) Killer Queen is all about indulgence. It is about loving the fine things in life. It is about temptation. Now, before you tell me, "Oh, but Ziggy, Crowley is the demon! He is the one who Tempts," let me point out that Killer Queen isn't necessarily about leading the temptation, but about indulging it. And who do we know who also loves to indulge in a temptation? Aziraphale. Aziraphale does. He is "isatiable" in "appetite." He is "fastidious and precise." He does not care for cars (lowk hes a passenger princess), he is very "well-versed in etiquette," and "extroardinarily nice." His perfume would "naturally" come from Paris, and oh, how he adores fine alcohol. The "Moët et Chandon" can be replaced here with "Châteauneuf-du-Pape," and we know he keeps it a metaphorical pretty cabinet for "special occasions." So yes, I actually think that this Killer Queen is a perfect song for our indulgent, posh Angel.
