If i ever see a shooting star,

I'd wish for someone who will love me back.

Make me feel like I'm the only person in the world,

The one you'll always care for.

Oh please, shooting star grant my only wish.

To have a lover who love me for an eternity.

Even if it would no longer be with me.

I would always wish the best for you, no matter what.

I yearn for a poet

Thus why am I the poet?

Is it too much too ask?

to be loved.

Forever the poet, but never the poem.

Shall I ever be one's inspiration?

Shall I ever be someone's dedication?

Or will it only live unceasingly, in my undying imaginations?

When will it ever be my turn?

Oh god? The universe?
