"Looking back at it now, I wish I'd had someone to guide me. The same way I try to do with you." Wukong gazed off into the distance, his ivory pupils were visibly glossy; the reflection of the sun in his eyes was almost too bright. His expression was soft, longing even. Though MK covered his eyes from the sun, the brown of his eyes glimmered a pretty ember, from what Wukong could see. Peaches fermented by the sun laid round the mountain side. Far too alcoholic for the boy to drink, but a sweet thing for the king. "I think-" He stopped, remembering the wild of his youth. His eventual downfall, then, how he'd crave the warmth of a bed, his people, or simply something to hold. Then he looked at MK and was quickly filled with either jealousy or pain. "I wish I'd had a mom growing up." It truly was stupid, because the boy next to him was his brother or his son, or some type of kin that made Wukong both want and hate the circumstances of his childhood. They had a mother- rather a creator. Hardly known her aside from their purposes or stories. But it was MK who yearned for her; while Wukong had long since suppressed the instinct.
