Honestly? Your character in Euphoria really show cased your acting abilities and I mean that in the best way possible. All of us are on the right page, honestly. At least those of us that stayed for this season. I'm right there with you! Though I've been having a bit of fun here and there. OH β the fans are worried for him because he isn't batshit crazy. They think he's gotten too soft. I guess the fans just want entertainment, you know?
I appreciate that, I liked getting to play the different sides of things. I'm always going to be someone who says take the jobs that push you out of your comfort zone. How're you going to know what you're capable of if you don't do the things that make you a little uncomfortable. See that worries me, that they're worried he's not batshit crazy. They have a whole thing for you and - domineering, between Wuthering Heights and Nate... your fans may need help. The amount of people who say they'd let Nate from season one do anything to them, I have questions. Questions that I don't want answers to, but questions all the same.
so what you are saying is...i need to kidnap you and help you have some self care. otherwise you are going to end up losing your mind. i am choosing to believe that, because never experienced it. hold on! edward cullen took my place? what the fuck? i don't know how to feel about that! i do get you needed a sounding board. i might be in need of one soon. i hope not! daya, i'll never forget you! i might mess with you and joke, but you're one of the most important people in my life.
Kidnapping me would be advised, at least by me. My team, may have an all out fit, but please. I can handle them later, I just need some down time and to see my best girl. Pretty sure I'm at the losing my mind now part, but isn't that what gives us a little extra character? Yes, Rob has essentially replaced you, don't get all upset. I don't think he's thrilled about having to have girl time so I can vent endlessly over tons of snacks and drinks. You might be needing one soon? Please dish. Where are you in the world? I know, I know but look I'm exhausted and emotional don't play with me! But really, when can I wait for you to kidnap me?
Her reaction was telling that she wasn't aware it was going to be him who was coming out for the blind date. The friends that had managed to get them both out was quite fascinating to him. Especially since it was Zendaya β Joe was well aware that she had been quite busy over the last couple of months. Despite being busy, he didn't live under a rock and was up to date with most pop culture things. The only thing that he wasn't exactly aware of was that she was newly single. Hopefully there'd be a way to talk about that, considering everyone who had know of the actress assumed she was seeing Tom Holland. "We have to give them all kudos for managing to pull of such a secretive blind date from us." He said with his smile turning into a smirk.
As she stood up and smoothed out her dress, he waited for her to look at him before he greeted her with a hug. Before he did though, she was already stepping forward and he immediately went to embrace her briefly. "Of course, I'm sure if I didn't come out? I wouldn't hear the end of it from them. Plus, figured it was a nice day to get out of the house and into the city." A slight panic coursed through his body as she mentioned him standing her up; shaking his head, "oh no no, I wouldn't do that to a blind date or anything really. I'm not that kind of guy, I can promise you that. But I'm also glad that you were able to come out too." Joe said as he motioned his hand out towards her. "Whew okay good, I'm glad it wasn't a long wait then. The traffic was hell, but I'm here now." Playfully he raised his hand to run the back of his hand across his forehead to add to the effect. Allowing her to slide in first and settled down, he followed suit and they were both in the middle of the booth. "If our names gets us served quicker then who am I to say no to that, right?" If he had to wait to be served though, he wouldn't mind it. "But I agree, if anything we can be friends, right? Which is always a bonus." What this date would bring forth, he wasn't exactly certain; however, knowing who it was? He was curious. "Zendaya a a whole granny? I never would have guessed. But I guess I also haven't been on a date in quite some time and they all figured it was time for me to get out there again. They also said that I've thrown myself too much into my work? Don't know how that's bad, but you know." As he spoke, he simply shrugged.
As they were speaking their waiter returned to take Joe's order and he ordered an old fashioned. Something to calm his nerves. Joe thanked him then turned his attention back to the brunette, "so haven't been dating either, huh? Just too busy or?"
"We can save the praising the friends until after the date because they will do one of two things if we do it now, ask us why we're on our phones instead of enjoying the date and two, but utterly unreasonable with how smug they are for pulling it off. Both of which I think we don't need to listen to right now." Chuckling because her friends had definitely surprised her, she wasn't sure who was going to show up but this had been pleasant as ever. "Though seems like this was a joint effort of multiple friends, I am curious how you got tossed into the mix." she admitted, "Not that that's a bad thing!" Quickly she said, "Trust me, it's not at all.." A soft noise from her lips, "Did your friends warn you I am definitely not as smooth as the media is wonderful for making me out to be."
Shaking her head she relaxed back into the booth a little bit, anyone that knew Zendaya knew she could be a bit of a dork, was easy going, and that the image the media had of her was one that was very cultivated. One she was grateful for thanks to her team, and she just played the part. It made it so the privacy of her life was far easier to hide, it kept things special between the people that she cared about and for. "Just long enough for me to get a drink which I appreciate gave me time to be a little less nervous." When he had said at least in the end if they wanted they could end up friends out of this she agreed, "Exactly, I mean it's nice to meet new people and most of the time anytime that I do it's filming or other events where I'm on my best behavior so this is actually a really nice change of pace." Listening to him as he said that he had thrown himself into his work a lot she could respect it. "You just finished promotion and all that for the end of Stranger Things just a few months back, right? How's it feel for all of that to have come to an end. Plus your music right?" Zendaya was aware he had been working on his music pretty publicly in the last good bit of time. "Oh I mean I get it, my friends basically said the same thing. Though I do have a lot of projects lined up coming out this year but that was just kind of - you know, timing all landed that way." It wasn't like she had expected this year to be as busy as it had.
"No, no. I haven't something that apparently isn't healthy." Quoting her one friend as she gave an eye roll. "I know it's awkward to mention exes but - kind of can't avoid who mine is so may as well say it. Tom and I split about eight months ago, ended the engagement. It was just something that ran its course, but I've been asked on dates and turned them down. This is the first time I've felt... ready to meet people." she admitted. "Add in work on top of it, though I will admit, I do use that as an excuse sometimes. What about you? Dating around or just getting back out there."
Over the last year or so Joe had thrown himself into his work, working on a new album, releasing it and then came the end of 'Stranger Things'. The main reason he had thrown himself into work the way that he did? It was because of his failed relationship that had ended right before the release of The Crux. She had cheated on him and that alone messed with his head in a way that he didn't exactly expect. It caused him to reserve himself and not put himself out there to date again. Of course though, his friends and family would occasionally tell him that it was time to move on from Maika and put himself out there. He had even got a pep talk from his own father telling him that just because there was one failed relationship that the rest or the next one would be as so. However, he couldn't help but let the fear consume him. Truthfully? He didn't mind his own company or of his band-mates, it made life a little less hectic. But, that didn't stop his friends to seat him up on a blind date. One that he wasn't exactly keen on, but once they had told him that they would get along? He couldn't help but let curiosity get the best of him. Although he had asked for a hint of who it could be, he didn't get single one. Aside from that she was also in the business and that they would get along.
His friends set up the date, made the reservation and informed him of what time he had to be there. Dressed in a pair of black levi jeans, chelsea boots, black t-shirt and a rusty orange blazer with his hair tousled his car came to a halt in the alley of the restaurant. He was escorted through the back and into the restaurant where the hostess took him to the table. When he managed to get a glimpse of who was sitting there, he was taken aback. Merely because he wasn't expecting it to be Zendaya. But honestly, he wasn't sure who he was going to see sitting there; he wasn't disappointed though. She was gorgeous. "Here's your table sir," said the hostess and walked away. Standing there for a second, a chuckle escaped him, "well holy shit. I wasn't expecting my date to be you. But hi, you look amazing." He said as a smile tugged at this lips. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."
Meeting someone new was normally something Zendaya thrived in, she enjoyed getting to know other people. Getting set up on a blind date by friends who wouldn't tell her anything about the person she was meeting. Zendaya didn't even know if this was a person who was in the industry, but she imagined given who had set her up it would be. Fingers settled on her glass as she took another sip, hoping the alcohol would calm her nerves - anyone who said Zendaya didn't get nervous, really didn't know the woman. The hostess returned and she shifted, finally glancing up to spot who was being brought to her table. Wait - she did know him. Not personally, but she knew of him, of course. Stranger Things had pretty much the whole world in a chokehold for the last several years right up until it ended. If someone didn't know Joe, she'd be surprised. Though he seemed even more surprised to see her sitting there. "Hi! I mean fair I didn't know anything about who my date was, our lovely friends found it more fun to keep it a true blind date." Giving a shake of her head.
Slipping around the booth she smoothed down her dress, always one hug another person she quickly moved forward hugging Joe, "I'm glad you could make it, and even more glad that you didn't stand me up." Which wasn't because he had been late or anything, but these days people backed out and it wasn't like she had his number to text him. Though she figured her friends would have tracked him down had he done just that. "And you weren't keeping me waiting I just got here and got a drink." she admitted before sliding back in. "Apparently if people know who you are you get served a little faster." A soft chuckle rising from her lips, "Please sit, join me. After all, our friends did go to all of this trouble figure that we should at least get to know each other." Waiting for him to sit her eyes lingered over Joe, her friend had been right in that he was definitely her type, whatever that meant. But also, given how right they were she couldn't say anything against it. "Alright so tell me, what forced our lovely friends into being set up on a blind date? Because mine acted as if I was becoming a granny because I haven't been out on a date." As she shifted in the booth a little closer figuring it'd be easier for conversation.

I think we can all agree that if there was a category of best yearner(?a word now) for the 24-26β season that without hesitation itβd be Sienna Spiro. Iβm proud to say that her song The Visitor makes me wanna stare out of a window with a tear streaming as it rains. Not to be too dramatic.
I'm always good for a good yearning but can you explain what exactly all of that is? Consider me out of touch I've been living in my own little bubble of filming, premieres, more filming which means anything prior to probably 2020 is a blur.
i absolutely love a good farmer's market! i feel like the fruit and veggies are better when you get them there versus the grocery store! do you prefer to hit up a farmer's market or much rather go to a grocery store? @notorietystarter
A farmers market is always a great place, because the fruits and veggies are better. I stand by it, those who put the food out there care about their product and what it looks like to keep people coming back which tells me it's better in the long run. Plus I hate grocery stores even if I need to go for everything else.
It's been the craziest ride of my life, honestly. But I wouldn't trade it for the world. If it wasn't for this show, I don't think I'd be where I am right now. And I probably wouldn't have met you all. There's nothing wrong with being "over it" β it's taken up most of our young adulthood lives and it's just time to wrap it up and move on. I don't think people will ever fully grasp that, and it's mainly because they just don't know what it's like to be in such a situation. So, I totally get where you're coming from, Z. The reactions from fans about Nate this season have been mixed, honestly. Some are funny while others are just worried about him.
No, no, I wouldn't trade it for anything either. I get how big Euphoria was for all of us. Sure, I had Spider-Man prior but I'm really glad I did something that was really out there and different. Sure, you're right, I may be over it in a lot of senses but I definitely don't begrudge it. We've all just been so busy trust me all I know is the second I get down time my ass is hitting my bed and never moving. Worried about him? I mean yeah getting the shit beat out of you kinda worrisome. I'm more worried that fans are wanting Nate to be batshit crazy again. But, I guess the fans like what they like?
girl, when are you going to take a few seconds and catch your damn breath? i feel like i have barely seen you besides for the premiere! i realize you are attempting word domination, but don't forget about little old me! i would say i'm starting to forget what you look like, but i don't think that's possible. @zendayafms
I don't even know! I'm pretty sure my team has me busy up through 2027 at the rate I'm going. At this point I'm just letting them point me and telling me where to go. Living out of suitcase the last several months? Sucks. Don't think I've seen anyone but castmates, Rob essentially became my best friend because I needed someone to listen to all my thoughts. How could I ever forget about you? Please. That's not humanly possible. Unfortunately I've made it hard to forget me right now while my face is so many places but eventually you may once it all dies down!
After a several year long relationship had crashed and burned, Zendaya had thrown herself into work. Between Euphoria premieres, the press that The Drama brought, and gearing up for the other movies that were bound to keep her busy well into the end half of the year. Only her friends had been insistent that she needed to get out, that she needed to meet people. How was it that had ended in them allowing herself to be convinced for a blind date? The dark haired woman would never know. Combing fingers anxiously through her now short hair, she fidgeted slight in the seat of her Uber that was bringing her to the established meeting point. Simple enough, a restuarant, what could possibly go wrong? With promises of privacy in a table that was tucked into an area from prying eyes, that did sway her nerves a tiny bit. The press had all but had a field day when they had found out Tom and her were no longer together, and she wasn't looking forward to the flashing lights and people figuring she was out on a date - a blind date, but a date nonetheless.
Given it was a blind date she had decided to dress up a little, a simple short dress that didn't cling too much to her figure but also didn't hide it. When arriving they drove down the back alley before letting her in the back. The less people knew where she was in the world, the better. Zendaya was ushered to the table and slid in, ordering a glass of wine to sooth her nerves before fidgeting with an older Cartier ring on her middle finger. Her friends had insisted they'd get alone, that they'd enjoy each others' vibes. She trusted them, what was the worst that could happen? "Your guest has arrived." A waiter said as he dropped off the glass, "Thank you." Quickly sneaking a sip before they brought in the person who was meeting her. @joekeeryfm

Shit, it's been a crazy ride hasn't it? To think we're finally wrapped with the show and knowing that that chapter is finally coming to a close. Know a lot of people have already deemed me "over it" and to an extent, I can't pretend I'm not - but not for the reasons the fans think, or those aren't the most important ones. The sheer exhaustion is really the thing, kind of putting one thing in my checked off box is wonderful. Same goes for The Drama, loved every minute of that but the second I got to check that off as "done" pretty sure I relaxed at least about ten percent more. How're you feeling about all of it. Can imagine the fans are going crazy towards you right now @jacobelordisfm
