Birthday Surprise - Zeke&Becca
Rebecca laughed “Bullshit” she teased him, the grin remained on her face as she looked up at him “I like your hair longer” she admitted “But don’t try and tell me you don’t check yourself out..” she teased again. She wrinkled her nose up “I’m destined to be a midget while you grow and grow” she laughed “Hey… I’m tough i could hurt you” she teased, wrapping her arm around him as he pulled her closer. She smiled up at him, laughing softly as she spotted the smirk tugging at his lips. “Maybe i will..” she teased, standing on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek gently. All she had wanted for her birthday was to spend time with him, time they hadn’t had the luxury of having properly since they’d reunited. So she felt relieved that they were here now.
“I guess thats true..” she smiled “But still.. I’m honestly, just happy to see you properly” she laughed. “It feels like a long time since we’ve been able to just.. even spend time together” she smiled “You won’t have to hold me to it..” she shrugged “Surprisingly.. I actually want to” she laughed as they walked “Where the hell are you taking me?” she smiled, chewing her lip as he called himself lucky “I don’t know..” she smiled “I think i’m the lucky one here..” she shrugged, she couldn’t help the stupid smile that spread accross her face when he spoke next. “You have no idea how good it feels to hear you say that..” she laughed
Zeke rolled his eyes as she spoke. “It’s not bullshit and I totally don’t.. most of the time,” he smirkedlaughed. “Well duh, that’s just how fate works. But i’m pretty sure it’s true that people stop growing when they reach perfection, I mean it would explain a lot considering you’re so tiny. You just reached it quicker than the rest of us,” he said playfully. “I’m sure you are tough,” he laughed again, smiling even brighter as she kissed his cheek.
He smiled softly as she spoke, nodding in agreement with her words. “It’s been way too long. I missed it, and I missed you,” he said softly. “You want to?” he asked happily, a goofy grin plastered on his face. “I’m not telling you. You’ll have to wait and see,” he smiled, shaking his head. “Nope, I’m definitely the lucky one. Shh,” he said, pressing a finger to her lips. “You have no idea how good it feels to say it,” he replied gently, looking down at her. “But it’s true, I love you Rebecca.. and I know things are pretty crappy at the moment, but it won’t be long until things work out. You know it’s gonna get better.” he murmured.
