Hey guys! I made this really cute SCH glamour today. But oh no! It uses SCH-specific legs, so any time I swap to WHM it’s going to look silly. If only there was a way for it to have a different glamour for WHM… but I don’t want to reapply it every time I swap…

GREAT NEWS NOW THERE IS!

You see that macro off to the side? Those two itty bitty lines gonna change your life, fam.

The macro is:

/micon 4 gearset /gearset change 4 1

The first line is the icon - Gearset 4 is WHM for me. This will pull whatever job you have in that slot and use its icon for your macro!

The second line pulls double duty - it both equips gearset 4 ONTO your character and APPLIES glamour plate #1. In this case, it changes me to a WHM and changes my glamour…

Bam. The only equipment difference between the sets is the weapon, but with this two-line macro we’ve made them look completely different, nulling the “issue” of shared gear. Any time I want to change back to SCH, I just use:

/micon 6 gearset /gearset change 6 2

Equipping gearset 6, glamour plate 2. 

IT’S THAT EASY!

I have hotbars set up to hold my job swaps, so it’s easy as pie to make these two-line macros that swap effortlessly between jobs AND glams. You can have one SCH macro for Gearset 6, Glamour 2 and then another button right next to it for Gearset 6, Glamour 3!
