Vriska not only expected to see Terezi, but was exited about it. Even if this Terezi would be fake, just seeing her would be a comfort. Which is exactly why The Point didn’t include her, because this is not a place of comfort, this is hell. And then of course we get this from the Patreon commentary (which is unlocked for the public):

They are going to meet again (haha, meat). I have the feeling that this is a long time away but STILL, she doesn’t get practice for this, she has to do it by herself. The training wheels are off now!

The Point was not only a chance for Vriska to age up, but to grow up. To mature. We haven’t seen what her characterization is like afterwards, but she has just spent 8 years round the clock facing her demons. Whether Terezi will hear her out or not is up to her, but I hope Vriska has come far enough to understand and explain how she really feels.
