Greenery for my Scenery

I worked overnights on weekends at a mental health facility for children for about 8 months. It drained my soul and disrupted my spirit quite often. I tried to alter my schedule in efforts to balance that position and my full time job. But ultimately I decided to quit. I hate quitting things, no matter how miserable the situation is, but this decision was the best I’ve made in a while. I learned a lot from the kids and I loved being there for them. However, I’ve decided to become more intentional about my work towards being there for myself above all else.
