ACRYLIC PAINTING
Bellow is an Acrylic Abstract Painting i made. Usualy i only use Pensil's but alwyas wanted to try the Brush and mix some paint.
To start i bought this canvas & some basic acrylic paint. After a quick look, i landed on a old
PHOTO:
I decided to take this 'black & white' picture of me, as a model to reproduce and explore some painting's aspects thru it, shown bellow:
PORTRAIT PAINTING
Since this was my first try, the painting was always been a WIP for a certain periode of time, and most of it's different versions have been made in different places.
Using a pensil i started making a simple Sketch as shown bellow, to highlight some important shapes.
SKETCH
Than i began pouring some paint, using only Black & White colors to keep it simple, and also discovering and learning more about the different shades of mixing these basic colors, as illustrated in the following pictures.
It was fun journey, i made some great memories with this painting, because painted many of it peaces in different places, i have imortilised some moments in these following photos:
On my apartment : this was in San Antonio, in 2016 when i first moved to USA, standing in this corner begin me to take her for a walk.
PAINTING IN PUBLIC:
River Walk Vibe, in San Antonio Texas, which was Lighted with Christmas lights, surrounded by Historic Buidings, movemented by tourists and local poeple who comes to enjoying the beautiful weather & have some tasty food.
That was a pretty moment, good vibes in the air, random conversation with strange poeple, meeting new artists,..etc.
Under this old tree, i exibited few Portraits i hav made & set my aisel to play with a brush and mix some colors, i added few more details yo the painting.
The results so far came out better than i was expecting. Later on after having couple drinks, i transformed the portrait to an abstract painting.
The fact of painting without to worry about regulations and expected ending result, was realy fun & deliberating, when the brush is only guided by your pulses and imagination, it was at that moment i stated adding some other colors, i was only using the basic ones "Blue/Red/Yellow", exploring the differents shades & nuances i could make. This how I ended with the version illustrated by the first picture posted.
PHOTO ANIMATIONS
Taking it to an other level by using a computer & multiple graphic softwars. I added some animated effects and some music notes, what made it alive, and more expressing.
Art is so wide without any limits, it's facinating how you can transform one peace of art to handred ones expressing different meanings ech time you take it to a diffrent platform using diferent art tools.
It also gives more ways and possibilities for art work to be showed & seen by the public, and expend the audiance thru the differents versions of the piece.
