Hey! I'll try and make a request! Just ignore it if I misunderstood how to do it π π€£
A one-shot or scene with Sombra x Zarya!
Zarya having found out that Sombra is out of Talon, and trying to get her to join overwatch instead!
Yes I am thinking romantic shipping! πβ€
Hii omg first request! Yes can do, and this was worded perfectly so no worries:) Sorry for any mischaracterization, I don't write characters quite like these two so often!

Sombra x Zarya oneshot!

Β Novanskoye Forward Base. Complicated name for a base, but not so complicated security systemsβas if Sombra found any security system complicated. This base was more charming thanβ¦well, securing. Sombra certainly had better things to do and she knew it.Β
Yet here she was, stalking around a Siberian base.
βYou left Talon.β boomed a voice right in front of her. Wait. In front of her? Sheβd clearly been in her head for too long in front of that stupid door.
Sombra yelpedβembarrassingβflinching a few steps back. Wasnβt hard to feign smoothness right after though, orβ¦at least, thatβs what Sombra thought when she replied, βNews travels fast.β
Zarya only narrowed her eyes for a very long moment, but as soon as Sombra opened her mouth to speak, Zayra was quick to interrupt, βYou have nowhere to go.β βOuch, Osa. Do you really think that low of my foresight?β That was too fast of a response, wasnβt it?
Zarya only stared down at Sombra, tension a string that could probably break only from a gust of wind. A woman of few words and many thoughts, Sombra was sure. There it was againβthat impossible talent Zarya had for saying five words and somehow making them weigh fifty pounds.Β
Eventually, Zarya let out another agonizingly slow breath and spit out, βCome with us.β
Sombra immediately paused. The audacity of this woman was worthy of being marveled at.Β
Sombra seemed to have recovered rather quickly, now suddenly putting her hand to her chin in thought, exaggeratedly squinting her eyes up at nothing in particular with her bottom lip jutting out.
βHmmβ¦tempting, Iβll give you that one, Osa.β
A beat.
βFree healthcare? Nice coworkers? Someone else pays for the coffee?β
Sombraβs stalling. And Zarya knows sheβs stalling.
βReally. It isβ¦but I have responsibilities.β
βTo whom?β
βIf I told you, youβd stop inviting me over.β Once again, another stall. Or deflection.
Zarya responded almost half as quick for once, βI never invite you over.β
Sombra only smiled and gave a little smug shrug, βYou donβt have to.β Zarya raised an eyebrow, the rest of her face otherwise unmoved.
βI know where you live anyway.β
Zarya only exhaled in response and peered over Sombraβs shoulder. Scouting for any backup Sombra might have? Sombra tried to open her mouth to reassure it was the opposite, but Zarya only raised her hand to stop her.
βWill I see you again?β
Sombraβs face softened for the briefest moment before that smug smirk came back, βMaybe when I get proof the coffee really is free.βΒ
And, with that, Sombra recloaked.Β
The snow drifted outside in front of the now empty doorway. Zarya waited another minute before turning back inside with heavy steps.
