She did not know!! Vi did not have information that you, the viewer, had!! She did not know about the conversation with Silco in the cell!! She didn’t know that in the next scene Jinx was trying to kill herself because she wasn’t there!!

She only knew about the conversation she had with Jinx in the cell!!

They were about to go to war!! They knew they were potentially about to go to die!! Were they just gonna shake hands and nod?? They were trying to grab one moment of comfort, of meaning, in an extremely fucked up situation. This is a theme that has been explored countless times in stories.

If you knew you were about to go to war wouldn’t you want your partner to have fond memories of you? Or you of them? If something were you happen to you, or them??

Also can’t help but wonder if this would be a conversation we’d be having if this was a hetero couple 🙄 if it was a man, idk, pinning a woman to the wall or something the same people complaining would be frothing at the mouth loving it.
