 I didn’t think this needed mentioning but I got a couple of questions. you’re all welcome to continue rping/use your ocs, but I ask that you please don’t use/reference/spin off anything that I created specifically for this group (for example, the locations or any mention of crownsville as a town since it is a fictional place i made up for the purposes of the rp). I hope that makes sense, my brain is a bit scrambled right now.

Jude smiled again, though it was weaker.  Weaker, but more sincere, more…touched.  It wasn’t that he had thought what they were doing was casual or anything, he knew he was serious about Zane and he felt that seriousness was returned.  But there was a new kind of semi-permanence that the ring symbolized, and he couldn’t help but feel almost relieved.  “What, like a placeholder for the engagement ring?”  He joked, smile returning full-force after a moment.

"Something like that.” Zane replies with a soft laugh, carefully sliding the ring onto Jude’s finger. He was glad that it fit. “If you can’t wear it to rehearsals, that’s okay. I tried Googling if you were allowed to wear jewelry or not, but I couldn’t really find anything.” 

“alright, but these are fire. literally.” she pops open the candy wrapper. “it’s peach flavored, but it has a touch of spicy to it. you’ve got to try them out.”

this being said, I will be taking a bit of a mental health day/break from the main this week. of course I'll still be around, but I may be a bit quieter while I figure out what I want to do next for the group.

“Oh hey!” she smiled as she saw the other come through the sliding door into the backyard, before she stepped on one of her dogs squeaky toy. Vivien had been so swamped the last few months with the summer season in full bloom running events every single week. Whether it was a birthday party, anniversary, reunion or wedding, it felt like she hardly had any time to do something for herself. So, she decided with the summer season coming to an end she’d host a dinner party at her place with the friends she made in town thus far. “I was just grabbing some fruit to chop into the fruit salad. How are you doing love?” 

"No worries. I get it.” Zane always felt like he was running off to get something or other for Lord of the Fries. He was a patient guy by nature too. He never minding waiting for a friend. “I’m good. Dying in his heat though. I can’t wait for fall to come. I need hoodie weather, like...now.” 

“I know you don’t, but fellatio is on the table anyway,” he replied, smiling at his own joke.  The smile only grew when Zane held out the small box to him.  When he opened it, however, his smile faded and his expression turned to one of surprise.  “Oh, wow…” he started, looking down at the ring.  “Now fellatio just seems like a really trashy way to say thank you,” Jude joked, briefly, going silent for a couple of moments. 

"Well, I’m certainly not gonna say no if you insist.” Zane teases, leaning over to press a kiss to Jude’s cheek. He  hopes that his boyfriend’s wow is a good one, biting his lower lip for a moment before speaking again. “It’s not, like...an engagement ring or anything. More like a promise ring? If you’re okay with that.” He explains, taking the ring out of the box to hold out to Jude. “I love you and I want to be with you for a long time. Happy anniversary.”

Nico had gladly said yes when Zane asked him to taste test for him. He loved trying all the different foods that he made and he was happy he got to do it for free. “No, I like the egg.” He shrugged and looked over towards the other. “I mean it’s a little hipster but I like it. I don’t think anybody is gonna say anything bad about the egg.”

"Brunch fries are slowly starting ot become harder than I thought they’d be.” Zane hums, carefully sliding the fried egg on top of the plate of fries. “Well, don’t say you like it til you’ve fried it. This one’s definitely a knife and forker, I would say.” 

Boxing up some fries, Zane makes his way over to Kelsey's place, smile playing on his face as he approaches the door, ringing the bell. “It’s Zane!” He calls out, knowing he probably should’ve texted before just showing up,  but oh well. Hopefully she was home. “I have fries!”

“A present?”  Jude frowned, sitting up again, off his elbows.  He hadn’t gotten anything for Zane, and suddenly he realized that he probably should have thought of that beforehand.  Was he just that selfish?  “I didn’t get you anything,” he replied, blushing.  “But I can offer, like, super enthusiastic fellatio?”

Zane wasn’t upset that Jude didn’t get him anything, He wasn’t expecting a gift, and besides, he wasn’t really a stuff guy anyways. Which probably made him hard to shop for. “I don’t need anything, babe. Just you.” He says with a shake of his head, pulling the small box from the cooler, offering it to Jude. “For you. Happy early anniversary.”
