Simcity 2000 (SNES) //our community discord// //our ko-fi// //our twitch channel//
Sega Saturn - Sim City 2000
Title: Sim City 2000 / ć·ć ć·ćć£ļ¼ļ¼ļ¼ļ¼
Developer/Publisher: Maxis Software / Sega CS1
Release date: 29 September 1995
Catalogue No.: GS-9027
Genre: Simulation
Ported to the Saturn from the Mac, Amiga, and Windows PC by Maxis, Sim City 2000 on the Saturn is quite a remarkable feat especially when you consider it was one of the first Saturn titles to be released and that the Mac original was quite complicated. While the game does suffer from a pretty long initial loading session things soon pick up. Controls,Ā asĀ you can imagine are a bit cumbersome at first due to the Saturn only having 8 keys compared to that of a Mac or Windows PC keyboard but with a little persistence, you'll soon get to grips with them.
The looks aren't too bad with detailed enough cities that you can zoom in and out plus there are some pretty cool-looking pre-rendered models in there as well. As far as playing goes it does a fairly decent job. Now, I'm no Sim City expert so I can only go on my personal thoughts which are I thought it was a pretty decent game. True, I need to get more into it though after 3 hours of playing, I did manage to build and destroy my own mini-town.
(SimCity, SNES, 1991)
these screens are sososo incredibly nostalgic to me. they changed my brain chemistry as a kid and turned me into the person I am today/hj

"The only thing more powerful than hate is love"
That message is incredibly powerful. It has swiftness and continuance. It has a need and a giving without question. And we really need someone more than ever before to be that hero that will yell it in the direct face of oppisition.
The halftime Superbowl show's main attraction featured Bad Bunny singing multiple songs in spanish. The event housed a weaving of story showing multiple cultural activities and life from Puerto Rico and Latino communities. Each scene change marvelously done with the superb cinametography done. The guest stars Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin was wonderful to witness too.
When I heard that Bad Bunny would be the main event of the Superbowl, my interest grew ten fold. Because I knew without a shadow of a doubt that the pedophile in the Whitehouse would gripe and bitch with incredible amounts of racist undertone. And boy was I not wrong about that.
The absolute irony is that Bad Bunnys messaging through out the whole show was about a number of topics such as solidarity, self belief, Familia, diversity, inclustivity and above all else...unity.
That ending with the saying of nearly all the countrys inside of South, central and North America was riviting. With Bad-Bunny holding the football and it saying "God Bless America", a resolute call for ALL of the America's that exist, not just the United States. People often forget there is more than one country under the "America banner", and for him to list them all showed the American spirit!
Watching this years NFL halftime show was actually refreshing for once as with past shows it was of pop culture drivel. This perticular showing had a deeper meaning, something we have not really had in quite sometime. Bad Bunny used the platform to the best of his ability to spread his message. After the show was done I had walked away feeling like I just got educated, one I am thankful for.
Wild that I still have an account
Its kind of wild in the age of internet land just how many social media accounts we can have. I was going deep into the nostalgia wondering about the year 2009 and attempting to look at tweets I posted from around that time, and it made me think about Tumblr as well. Gosh, I used to love using Tumblr. I would utilize it for my poetry, for my angst posting, and sharing of various video game fandom and even anime related material. Now in the year of 2026, I kind of want to regain that spirit. Thing is I am not sure whom to follow, whom to connect with, whom to really know. Tumblr feels like a long lost artform, or a friend that you care just re-connecting with. Time to get started.
