the whole hashirama being protective of tobirama trope is one of my favorite things on this earth. i think hashirama should threaten madara more actually.

HAHAH ok i lied it’s 82k rn since i didn’t quite like what i had for chapter 8 and i still have to write chapter 9. but. i fear this will breach 100k as all the chapters so far have been 10-13k words.

i’m so excited to share it with you ❤️!! this is probably the most effort i’ve put into a fic. 7 months of blood sweat and other fluids. I couldn’t have done it without my amazing madatobi mutuals who sprinted w me and gave me feedback and helped me bounce ideas off of them and sat w me in vc for hours as i complained about world building horrors.

I would like to post one chapter a week, starting next week!! (keep your eyes peeled for all the amazing fics that’ll be posted as part of the big bang event :P)… which also gives me time to finish up these last two chapters lol.
