“You…are joking right?” The girl raised an eyebrow. What a strange request she had gotten from her friend. Souji had asked her to go to…her world? Her world was like any other except she was latched into the part of it that contained the supernatural and the mythological. Why of all places though? Couldn’t they go to his world? Or was it similar to hers?
….Well, she would have to go back eventually….
With a heavy sigh she relented.
“Yeah we can go there….Just….stay behind me once we get to my house..if we get there….”
Souji still had that prophecy from the treasure box on his mind. He probably shouldn’t be taking some weird thing found in a strange box seriously, but four months in Hive City taught him to be cautious of anything out of the ordinary. Perhaps he could find something in her world related to the prophecy.
“.....O.k. I’m looking forward to seeing your world.” He placed a hand into his pocket as he looked at the sky. “Why would I need to stand behind you? Is your place dangerous?” He asked, turning his attention back to his close friend.
April Fools Day? More like April Pranking Day!
Whoever passes by this street at Sector 5 will find themselves covered in paint of various colors and with some difficulty at moving. Ah, the wonders of mixing paint with cement!
“.......Did someone really mix cement with paint? I have the worst luck.”
The serious boy just so happened to be the unwilling target of numerous pranks. Was he unlucky or cursed? Either way he needed to get out of this situation, but he was stuck.
“I just finished visiting a world where everything was made out of candy.” He glanced back at the open portal scratching his neck. “The inhabitants of the world kicked me out when I accidentally wandered into the garden.”
“…..What is going on with the sky?” Souji frowned as he looked up at the sky. Why did the city have to go into crises mode at worst moment possible? His midterms were this week!
And here comes a defeated Makie, walking down the road as she makes her way to the next portal.
“This is ridiculous…please let the next world not be ridiculous…” She says while slumped over, contemplating her short life.
“Makie.” Souji blinked several times as a puzzled expression formed on his face. Why was his best friend about to dive through a dangerous portal? “Makie. What are you doing?” He quickly jogged up to her side. “What's going on?”

It’s been a little while since we last made a post of this nature, and as such, many of the blogs that have liked our previous masterlist post may have gone inactive or simply dropped without unliking it! Several months ago, Souji received a vision of the future from a treasure box. At the time he instantly dismissed the bizarre dream. After all people had the power to alter their destinies. However, his best friend’s statement had an ominous quality about it. Perhaps he should prepare himself for the worst case scenario.
Closing his eyes, Souji attempted to push the image of his dying friend out of his mind. His grip on his bag tightened, and his posture stiffened slightly. Everything was going to be okay, right?
After opening his eyes, Souji forced himself to smile. “I’ll always be your friend, I promise.”

Souji blinked several times before looking at the ground. Wow, this was certainly awkward. “....I meant going out as friends. Sorry for the misunderstanding.” He stammered trying his best to keep the embarrassment out of his voice.
❝Well, it’s the only day when many are able to treat their loved ones better than usual- right? I’m not surprised… Me? I… I didn’t have anything in mind, actually… It just feels like any other day for me. And yourself…?❞
“It’s the same for me. I don’t have any plans at the moment. Say, would you be interested in doing something with me? We could go see a movie or something.”
❝Ah- I almost forget they did discounts on it… I guess it might be more hectic than I thought it to be…❞
“The nearby candy store is packed with people trying to buy last minute gifts. It’s hard to walk around the city without seeing people going all out. This one guy down the street bought his girlfriend a new convertible. What are you doing for Valentine’s Day?”

“Ah?!”
The fry hit her forehead and fell into the table in front of her. He had started something here now she was the one to finish it! She picked up the fry and flicked it back at him. “Hmph!”
Souji didn’t intend to hit the girl with a french fry. His hand accidentally slipped, but before he could apologize she flicked the greasy fry right back at him. The fry landed on his nice white shirt leaving a trail of ketchup and grease as it slowly slid to the floor. Now, Souji could be mature person by ignoring the girl’s behavior, but he was rather upset about the state of his shirt.
After waiting for the man sitting in front of him to leave the table, Souji flicked another fry in the girl’s direction. This was war.
❝O-Oh, right… Today’s Valentine’s Day, isn’t it…❞
“Yup, I’m looking forward to the discounted candy sales tomorrow.”
