Hellish is a blackened thrash metal from Chile and are fast and dirty like you want this genre to be. Their sophomore album is Grimoire and I think that it definitely delivers. Pretty fun album.

I really like the sophomore effort from Bonded By Blood. Exiled To Earth is a very solid thrash metal album, especially when you realize the album is from 2010. When you name your band after an Exodus song you better bring it and they do.
Listening to HeXeN and their 2nd album, which happens to be their last album. I'm not sure what to make of Being and Nothingness. It's a decent enough album but I feel like it's pulling from multiple genres and I'm not digging it. Thrash elements with prog and melodic tinges and the vocals are very death metal inspired.
Gothenburg's Monolord has a new album out titled Neverending. This is a fine addition to their discography and I loved the tracks Iodine, You Bastard, The Masque, & It's Neverending. Fuzzy sludge abounds on this one with very cool guitar riffs.
Warp speed ahead for thrash/crossover metal band Terrordome. Machete Justice is their second album and it does not wait for you to settle in. 11 songs in 31 minutes and you are left wanting more.

Sophomore album from Gama Bomb is titled Citizen Brain. They have created music made in the last 20 years sound like something that came from the 80's. Modern Thrash metal at its finest.
Burning Shadows sophomore effort is Gather, Darkness! and wow. This is a concept album with a full story told in song. This is more fantasy/power metal and sounds like a novel being sung to you. This is a fun ride.
It's a little dark and dreary this morning so I'm going with some doom/fantasy metal with the band Smoulder. Their last album is also their second album with Violent Creed of Vengeance. It definitely transports you to a different place and time.
I really love John Bush's vocals and that's about all I can say for the new album from Armored Saint. Emotion Factory Reset is the album and nothing really stood out to me. Pretty forgettable unfortunately.
Time for a little Doom/Fantasy/Occult Metal with Magic Circle. This one is bittersweet since it looks like they split up in 2020. They have 3 albums and the 2nd is called Journey Blind and doesn't have a track under 4 minutes. This one is a vibe for sure.

The sophomore album from Swiss based band Burning Witches is Hexenhammer. The ladies in this band kick ass have a sound very much in keeping with NWOTHM. This is a really good album and you should check it out.
If you haven't listened to Iron Reagan I think you probably should. Their blend of thrash and punk is fantastic. Sophomore album is The Tyranny Of Will and the songs are fast and furious with a runtime of 33 minutes but you get 24 songs and a bonus track.
Going with Hell On Earth by Toxic Holocaust for one of my resolution choices today. This is very fast paced and has that black, thrash, & speed metal vibe to it. I like it a lot.
Hardcore legends Pro-Pain released a new album today titled STONE COLD ANGER. I liked this album quite a bit, I think there are a couple songs that don't quite work for me. Overall though there was lots to like, fast paced and to the point. OCEANS OF BLOOD, MARCH OF THE GIANTS, and RINSE & REPEAT being standouts for me.
A forgotten band from the early 80's is Brocas Helm. Their 2nd album is Black Death and has some very satisfying sounding bass, has that galloping tone. At times it has a medieval feel to it and I don't think that's by mistake.

NWOTHM time with the band Hitten. Their second album is State Of Shock and is awesome. Fast paced and showing off what they can do. Definitely a throwback to those great albums of the 80's but with fresh takes.
Hate, Fear And Power is the second album from the band Hirax. Calling this album short and sweet would be an understatement. This has 8 songs and is 16 minutes long. This is thrash at warp speed.
