i read a ton of fic. i read things i know i wouldn't like and things i know i do. i love reading!!!! some of my favorites are oldfic from the y2k era, so please be aware that some material in them may be eyebrow lifting. i don't think anything in them is especially egregious, though.
my favorite stories ever are adventure, political drama, and just plain drama. i love drama… (clenches fist)
that said, a lot of these are vm fics because for some reason a lot of vm fics are in that niche. where are all the vw adventure fics??? i have to do it myself smh.

this is the best fic ever. 11/10. i made it a cover and printed it out and i love reading it over and over. it's perfect. no notes. post-trimax vash and knives travel the planet and knives writes restaurant reviews for the newspaper.
vm vignettes that tie into a larger story. it builds the world and tugs on my heart in a way only nostalgia can.

livio/razlo x knives rarepair fic. by my good friend charlie who is the knives understander. i dont want to hear anything about knives from anybody else. this is just... really, really good. a very in depth character study that explores their vulnerabilities and emotional healing from having both been Bad. inspiring prose. amazing community around this fic.

y2k tri98 fic. this fic gave me depression. vash never intended to return after the battle with knives and he and meryl meet again by chance 10 years later. it promises smut in the last chapter and doesn’t deliver. rip.
y2k tri98 fic. the ending made me rly sad. it is a Pretend To Be My Husband At The Public Function fic and vash’s characterization is spot on. it’s everything i ever wanted from him with 98 fics but now i have to go back to reading screaming donut man.
i hold out hope one day that this fic will be finished. it is the fic ever. post-trimax adventure fic where knives is reborn. i have drawn sooo much art for this fic.
