I've found sm relief (when im Freaking Out) by being like. ok so I enjoy being happy. what makes me happy what do I want to do. ok I live capitalism hell. what can I do, that i can bear, or even like, to get the things I love?

if you hate your job, any moment spent outside of it is used to recover from it. but if you do something you at least tolerate, you can go home to what you want w little or no recovery time!

like rn my goal, I wanna be a professor is think its chill, like it enough. rn im part timing at a college working w struggling students and looking to do case management. im a social worker, so ill just teach that. ill do social worker stuff to get experience/use my knowledge, do the college stuff to get something started for being a professor later. rn I fw what i do, it doesn't bring me down enough to interfere w other parts of my life much, if at all. hrs r a little weird but the time I have to myself I am not thinking abt it anf I can do whatever the freak i want!! fuck da world.

of course theres stuff like financial barriers/health/oppressipn etc that can get in the way. as a social worker i always look into resources to alleviate some of that strain. the greater issues in our society we cannot quickly fix, but we do have control over what we do for ourselves. we should be living for ourselves, not working to live/living to work. never center ur damn job, decenter jobs.
