If you were put into the body of the one you loved Would you treat it well?? I miss you a lot I'm not even sure that you reciprocated my feelings and i don't really care but the memory of you still lingers on I try to believe that what we had wasn't real i regret putting all my trust into it The moments were it did feel real were amazing I felt loved I felt seen I thought I was actually getting somewhere But i guess you were looking at other pathways It hurt mostly because you slowly distanced and i had no idea what i did wrong I guess i reciprocated that when i stopped talking to you all together But it makes me wonder if you were ever interested at all Or if id ever find someone like you ever again And all I have is time time to think time to reminisce time to mourn anyway I will probably cringe at this in the future

The warmth of my bed is the coziest of all Until the moment i felt your hands on my heart As the sunshine spills onto my face All that I could recall is your gaze That one warm day in the summer where our hands intertwined That warm day I should have called you mine Through the cold and hot days Your hands still stayed Holding my heart in your arms gently Until that one last look you gave me When that warm gaze couldn't face my way The gently cupped heart got torn apart And as it got ripped into pieces I put it back piece by piece where you wouldn't miss it Inside my warm bed heart ripped apart I lay pondering Should I close my curtains to sleep more often?
