the whole time drawing this i kept calling the bird a falcon in my head. when i finally had to look up bird references, i couldn't figure out why they were so small... every breed of falcon... so small... i talked myself into believing it was a supersized mythological falcon so i started drawing a giant falcon... about 30 minutes in i realized i should just google
