Actually it's mortally embarrassing for you to be so entrenched in your belief that lesbians are failed women that you accept without question the premise that women who want to live in a society where women do not have to choose men to survive ("the reality is the current generations of men would sooner enslave us again instead of respecting us") are somehow doing so out of an insatiable predatory drive to sexually victimize straight women rather than out of self-preservation because lesbians are also women 💜

we’ve established that femininity is expected of women, so therefore its associated with women. to be a female is to also be lesser than, inferior. therefore being feminine is to be inferior. if you can see the vision i’m getting at

Humiliation rituals are used by cults and abusive groups to establish which members are superior and which are inferior, to reinforce submission in the "inferior" party, to normalize the abusive practices and mistreatment of the "inferior" party, and to instill a sense of shame so that the "inferior" party is too embarrassed to share details of the abuse with those outside the group.

In the 57 developing countries where data was available, the report found 45 percent of women were not fully empowered to make choices over healthcare, contraception, and whether or not to have sex. There were differences across regions: While 76 percent of women in eastern and southeastern Asian make their own decisions over their bodies, the figure is less than 50 percent in sub-Saharan Africa and in central and south Asia.

20-80% of men admit to perpetrating emotional IPV

31-64% of men admit to perpetrating street-based sexual harassment; in addition, more educated men were more likely to admit to having sexually harassed a woman, and more educated women were more likely to have experienced sexual harassment

6-29% of men admit to perpetrating sexual violence against women and girls

Women are being quite levelheaded in responding with facts, but they're not being met with any actual argument because the point is not to make a statement of fact. These men feel impotent in the face of a woman is both powerful and well-liked by other women. They seek to reassert their sense of power over the common women they do have access to by naming reality in a way that is contrary to truth, and to do so explicitly in a way that puts down her professional accomplishments because that is the thing that they find most threatening.
