“Did you think We created you without any purpose?”
— Holy Quran [23:115]
Ya Akhi, Ya Ukhti, Ramadan is right around the corner. This past year our Imaan has fluctuated up and down with highs and lows. Yet Allah swt. is still blessing us with this beautiful month.
I pray Allah swt. allows us to reach Ramadan and allows us to strive and reap the full benefits and rewards of this month.
This is our chance to make a change. Forget the past, This is your chance to repent to Allah swt. and establish a proper relationship with our merciful Rabb and to become a better Muslims!
I pray your Ibaadah is accepted and you have a successful month. Put your head down and work and strive for the rewards of this Month! Pray all your prayers, Moisten your tongue with the recitation of the Quran and continuous Dhikr, busy yourself with good deeds and abandon futile matters and lastly repent and turn back to Allah swt. Treat this ramadan as if it was your last in your life and your last chance to make a change!
May Allah swt. accept from us and allow us to be amongst the successful and the ones with accepted Ramadans!
Allahumma Ameen

Ibn ‘Umar [رضي الله عنه] said:
“Raise your children correctly. Verily, you are responsible for them and you will be questioned regarding your rearing of them.”
[Shu’ab Al-Imān, (8295) | Translated By Abū Isma’eel Mustafa George]
Alhamdulillah for rejected Duas, 🗣️
Couldn't thank my lord enough
Alhamdulillah for good health. There are so many people struggling wallahi, so many who would rather be dead than be in the health situation they are in. So many who don’t have a single control on their life, body or mind, bc of their health. So many suffering. Allah is holding alot from us. He could take away our good health just in the split of a second but he lets us have it despite our shortcomings, sins and ungratefulness. Be grateful.
7 tips in getting closer to Allah SWT
read the Qur'an everyday reading the word of Allah and understanding what you are reading will make you feel close to Him as you know that this is not a Book that anyone has just written - it has come directly from Allah SWT. subhanallah. reading and understanding what He says will make you want to practise what the Qur'an says and, in turn, be closer to Him.
be around people who remember Allah human beings have great influence on each other so it is important to have righteous people around you. their relationship with Allah SWT will inspire you to build and improve yours.
understand what you recite in salah knowing what you are reciting will help you understand how many blessings you are gaining with just a single prayer. take time to learn the translation (if you do not speak/understand arabic) of what you are reciting and why.
learn Allah's 99 names and attributes 'And to Allah alone belong all perfect attributes; so call on Him by these' (7:181) Allah likes it when we call Him by his names and it is important to recognise and understand Him. think of Him as your friend: when you get to know someone better, you get closer to them. it is the same thing, in fact, better, with Allah SWT.
have secret good deeds between you and Allah again, like having a friend, having something that is just between you and your Lord will make you feel closer to Him.
make lots of du'a - especially in sujood having your dua's come true is the best feeling, especially when you have been praying for something for a long time, alhamdulillah. praying for anything, no matter how big or small, will make you feel closer to Him as you know that He alone will make everything okay and knows what is best for you.
remember death and prepare for it this one can be very hard but it is important to remember that death can come at anytime so always try and do good deeds and live righteously in order to please Allah. when having this mindset that each day is a new chance to seek forgiveness and do good deeds, you will feel closer to Him by wanting Him to be happy with you.

ways to improve your salah
understand what you are reciting knowing what you are reciting will help you understand the blessings in what you are saying as well as the beauty of salah. this will make you feel more connected with Allah SWT.
have humility and meekness understand that you are facing the Lord of the Worlds, the One, that nothing is hidden from Him and He knows what is in your heart. so earnestly stand before Him and pour out your heart and ask for forgiveness hoping that it will be accepted.
pray as if it is your last prayer this one is important because you truly do not know if it will be your last prayer or not. think to yourself before you pray: if I die before the next prayer, how can I make sure that this prayer is the best prayer I have ever done? and build that into a habit every time where you are praying sincerely with concentration.
imagine that Allah SWT is right there in front of you and is watching you pray He is right there in front of you but sometimes it can be forgotten or not fully appreciated, so it needs to be visualised. imagining Him by your head as you do sujood you will help you gain that humility and meekness and will make you be more concentrated as you are aware that you are praying before the very One who created you, who has blessed you, who is the Most Forgiving and Merciful, subhanallah. this is your time with Allah SWT to worship Him and have a conversation with him so concentrate and bow down to Him sincerely.
understand the blessings in it doing research on the beauty of prayer and the blessings in it will make you never want to miss a prayer and will change a 'i have to pray' mindset to a 'i want to pray' mindset as you will not want to miss out on the beautiful blessings of salah. remember: we need Allah SWT, He does not need us. it is for our own benefit.
set alarms to pray on time this will serve as a reminder that it is time to pray. snoozing the alarm will hopefully cause some guilt which can motivate you to pray and to do it on time.
