deuce had quite the temper on him, though he didn't lose it as much as he used to when he was in middle school (during his delinquent years he ... prefers not to talk about) it was still scary when he lost it. he had never hurt you before, but watching him yell and break things, becoming violent towards the person that'd made him angry, was never a pretty sight to watch nor have to listen to.

he swore he'd never hurt you, physically that is. but he promised that he wouldn't ever lay a hand on you, even when you fought and kicked him for being such a terrible 'boyfriend', he kept his cool with you. what kind of person would he be if he hit his precious girl? he knew his mother would be even more ashamed of him than when he was a delinquent.

but right now, deuce wasn't quite sure where that promise went. he'd already forgotten the small thing you said that'd set him off, but it didn't matter whether he remembered or not. he was straddling your stomach, split knuckles coated in your blood as you lie still beneath him. he was too scared to check for a pulse, he simply just gazed on your beaten form. an ugly shade of purple and blue covered your entire face, your nose broken and a few teeth had been knocked out. he'd done this, but he still felt hot tears slip down his face and land onto yours.

he was so blinded by his anger he hadn't realized what he was doing. even through your sobs and pleas for him to stop, that it hurt so bad, that he'd promised he'd never hurt you – he never listened. a sick smile on his face as your blood pooled around your head, some splattering onto his face as he hit you more, and more, and more. he'd broken your wrists for trying to shield yourself, to hide that pretty face he wanted to so badly beat. he'd never been so violent towards you before, he only ever shouted and threatened you, but you'd finally broke your poor boyfriend.

however he couldn't just sit here mourning you, crying to himself about how he just ruined his future – sure he'd held you here against your will and forced you to act like you were really dating him, he had a future planned out with you. how would he live out that fantasy now? you were fucking dead, even if he tried to make it to a hospital, how would he explain that he'd done this, that he was the one who'd beaten you to near death.

if only you weren't so weak. if only you could take a beating, he wouldn't be in this dilemma right now. god he really fucking hated you, he just wanted to break the rest of you. even if he wouldn't hear those screams of agony, it'd help him feel better. besides, what other use did you have now? he'd just dump your body somewhere later, so he might as well have fun with it right now.

SATAN

His keen gaze always lingers on you ― observing every little detail and secrets of yours. So, when you're busy being the candy of another demon's eye, he's noticing the interaction from a window that hides his presence. The aura of wrath that he exudes makes the hallway he's standing in impassable for the lower demons so he's left alone there with his insecurities and rage. Looking at him, you'd never guess that his mind is plotting to ruin the demon who had the audacity to approach you.

It takes exactly one day for the rumor to circulate. Satan comments how he had seen you with the demon in the rumors and once you confirm, he gets upset. See, he cares about you so he'd hate it if you fall victim to a demon's wiles. He's well versed in demonic tactics so stay close to him and listen to his advice which again entails you to always stay close to him.

ASMODEUS

Oh ♡ Wrapping his arms around you, he asks about the cutie who's flirting with you. The other demon can't help but be a little flattered and charmed at the word 'cutie' but one look at Asmo sends a chill down their spine.

Sure, the Avatar of Lust has the easy smile on his lips but the hard glint in his eyes is far from forgiving. For someone who loves really easily, loves everyone out there without judgement, he doesn't take it well when the object of his highest affection is stolen away.

He had his eyes on you first, loved you first, poured out his entire heart first and more beautifully so how DARE someone hit on you behind his back?

Since your back is against Asmo's chest, you can't see the warning in his gaze. When the demon leaves at once, you can only raise your eyebrows before transferring your attention to the needy demon behind you. As it should be like ♡

BEELZEBUB

He doesn't like the way the other demon is touching you. It upsets him to know that there's someone other than the brothers who can get close to you. Why do you need more friends when you already have a family in the Devildom? You can never be too sure of their intentions either. It took the brothers a while to trust you completely and to win your faith in return. Demons can be dangerous so don't wander too far away from him. Alright?

Beel only needs to stand beside you as if he's waiting for the conversation to end but the hungry gaze he shoots the demon is enough to make them gulp. The Avatar of Gluttony is known to have eaten lower demons and by the look of it, they seem to be the next target. Since the conversation is not worth their life, the demon retreats immediately and Beel gets all the hugs he wants from you.

... Now, some family bonding time is in order.

Exhausted from crying, you lay against his chest and Lucifer lets you doze, telling you that even if you cannot fall asleep, it'd be nice if you could rest your head a bit

He's working on the side, so he's there whenever you need his attention again

Mammon

You would assume he was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do at first and you'd be right

When you complain about not being able to sleep, Mammon first tries all the things that used to (and still do) work on his brothers. Counting sheep together, a lullaby, getting tuckered out by playing something like catch...

But it doesn't work and you start crying from frustration... By now, Mammon feels a bit helpless and very tired as well but you gathers you in his arms and shushes you while petting your head

He offers to put on your favorite cartoon and let it play while you cuddle, hoping that it may lull you to sleep or at least distract you from the thoughts that run through your head while you're unable to fall asleep

Afterwards, Mammon tries to find some kind of magic that could help you without being harmful to humans

Leviathan

Levi is usually awake if you need to find him in the middle of the night, playing one game or another or binge watching anime because he can't just stop when there's a cliffhanger every episode

He lets you sit in his lap and bounces you gently, rubbing your back to soothe you while you cry into his chest

When you calm down, exhausted from letting out your frustration, Levi cleans up your face, makes sure you didn't forget anything in your room like your stuffie, binkie and maybe a blanket before letting you watch a cute anime with him

He tells you to close your eyes if you're feeling too tired, even if you can't sleep, you can still listen to the story and rest your eyes

He hopes he can find some way to help you but until then... Levi will always be there when you need someone to soothe you during your sleepless nights

Satan

Though he tries to go to bed at a reasonable hour because its good for your brain, even Satan finds himself getting lost in a book until suddenly he's finished and it's 5 in the morning already

This time however, it's not the end of the book that let's him look up again, but your sniffling, teary self who opened the door way too late at night

He immediately closes the book, coming over to shush you and ask what's wrong, your papa's here now, it's alright

Thankfully, there's a lot of child-friendly books to choose from and Satan has no trouble reading out loud for you, gently swaying you while you sit in his lap to imitate waves as he tells you a story of a little pirate on the sea

He asks you to imagine the things you hear as if they were a movie, kissing your forehead gently before starting on the first book for the night

Asmodeus

Beauty sleep is very very important to this demon and everyone knows it

Yet, it's not like he could be angry at his little one when they're at his door, sobbing and telling him they can't sleep

He lets you in and asks if you want to take a soothing lavender scented bath with him

If you do, he will be sure to pamper you, giving you bath toys to play with while he takes care of your hair (if you have any and let him)

If you don't, he merely lights a lavender scented candle and sings lullabies for you, gently holding you in his arms

He may fall asleep again, but it's not like he never stayed awake until morning before, so just wake him again for company

Beelzebub

Depending on when you finally search for him, Beel may actually be in the kitchen instead

His heart hurts when he sees you so upset and sad, picking you up and bouncing you softly to soothe you while you hiccup and sob

You may not be able to sleep, but you can join him in getting some food

He will bring you to your favorite place if it's open now or if not, you can just make something together, though you will have to get some groceries because Beel didn't have anyone holding him back before and the fridge was barren now

With most of his focus on you, he doesn't even have that many problems while making the food and before you know it, your tummy is full and you're in Beel's lap, head against his chest and dozing to the sound of his steady heartbeat and snores

Belphegor

There was a trick in waking him up: your voice

And when that voice was drenched in sadness and frustration, Belphies eyes snapped open in no time at all

He's hugging you, rubbing your back and arms in soothing circles, shushing you while you cry

It wasn't often Belphie couldn't sleep and when that happened, it usually didn't take long for it to be solved again, so he could only imagine how upsetting this must be for you

He offers to use his demonic powers on you to basically hypnotise you into a state of sleep but... Only if you talked about it while you weren't regressed before

He knows you can't make such big decisions while you're a child like this, so instead he just has to help you another way

First thing was helping you calm down, not too hard when your cries kept him from falling asleep himself

Secondly... He wasn't sure what to do, what did you want from him? Company?

He tries his best, he really does but he may doze off accidently sometimes

Still, Belphie tells you to wake him again if he does and/or if you need him
