My face listening to audio I STILL cannot hear.

I’m not saying he said it. I’m not saying he didn’t. I’m saying I cannot hear a clear statement in that video, and apparently people who were actually in the room didn’t hear it either. I also find it interesting that something this significant supposedly happened at a public Q&A and there wasn’t an immediate wave of reporting about it.

I thought we finally had a clear answer yesterday. I was wrong about how clear that video was. But I’m also not accepting someone else’s interpretation of garbled audio as fact just because they heard what they wanted to hear.

Give me clean audio. Give me an unaltered video. Give me a direct quote I can actually hear.

Chris has publicly said he is happy in his marriage

Chris’ friends and family attended their wedding and have made positive public comments about their relationship

The toxic conspiracists will pretend this has always been about a difference of opinion. Lmao. It is not. Hate or love Chris/Alba all you want. Think whatever you want about his character. That’s your business.

But denying reality is not an opinion. It’s a delusion. Which, if you wanna be harmlessly delusional, go for it. But when you let that delusion motivate you to send death threats, harass people endlessly, spread lies and slander about celebs and non-famous people alike, flood fandom spaces with hateful and bigoted rhetoric, commit the federal crime of wire fraud by setting up a fraudulent gofundme to steal $23k from people… naturally that behavior won’t go unchecked. And trying to play the victim now of the same behavior you perpetuated against everyone else won’t work. Too many receipts 😊

And THAT is why so many of us thought this wasn't real. I'm not going to rewrite three years of history just because we finally got one definitive answer today.

He was clearly working and filming during that period. She traveled to Portugal for her sister's wedding while roughly six months pregnant (if surrogacy wasn't used), while he didn't attend. Massachusetts was supposedly home base, yet she lives in NYC. The public timeline never made much sense to a lot of us. We didn't see an obvious pregnancy. There were a million little inconsistencies that people have been arguing about for years.

And even today, what's interesting to me is what he actually confirmed he has a child. That's it. He didn't talk about them becoming parents, how they're adjusting, his wife as a mother, or their experience having a baby. His language was about him and his child.

The one thing I can say definitively now is that Chris has a child. I accept that because it came directly from him. Everything beyond that? I still have questions, and frankly today's confirmation didn't answer most of them.
