:D ok! i’ve updated the Sonic character anatomy, this is basic though but i really hope is easy to understand (because i’ think i’m not good enough explaining things with words lol) and it results useful to anyone who might need it ^_^  

just some other tips to improve:

try drawing comics! on comics you have to try new poses, angles and expressions.. is reaally helpful to improve your drawing skills!

look at official art for reference

listen to cool music! XD it always helps to get inspired hehe

In the first movie Sonic ran in circles multiple times on the baseball field due to his emotional state after realizing he's truly alone on an (from his perspective) alien world. Not being able to socialize with any of the inhabitants do to being different and fearing they too might take his power. Unbeknownst to the hedgehog he was building up energy while doing this.

Eventually all the built-up energy is released, causing a massive surge that took out power for the entire Pacific Northwest. Now this was an accident on Sonic's part as of during that point in his life. All he knew how to do was to run and keep on running. He has no intention of ever hurting anyone with his powers on purpose.

In the third movie Shadow is running in circles multiple times in The Ark due to his emotional state just like Sonic. However, unlike Sonic who did it after a sad realization of his life. Shadow is doing it out of anger and revenge. Having lost the one person in his life that meant so much to him. Like Sonic he's building up energy, but where Sonic did it unknowingly Shadow is doing it with full intention.
