have some tenna and noelle parallels board i made on paint

they surprisingly have a LOT in common, specially both being very much tied to Nostalgia, not getting over the past and both being associated with snow AND love, but somehow i don't see people talking about their parallels very much? so guess i'm putting matters into my own hands ig

Both having a truce with Noelle, a more soft pacifist one in the main route and a more complicated with the Weird Route implications

Also they're both very insecure about their relationship with Kris, not knowing if Kris still likes them, if they're friends, etc, or if they're interacting just because it's convenient for them

It always bugged me how Tenna was aware of the Sword Route and of course he is if he himself edited it out, so he had to play it himself so know what to cut and what not. He has his own version of himself in game so it's not a reach to imagine him playing it.

Tenna is so aware of the Sword Route he will directly stop you from reaching there yourself (also another reference to the Glaceir blogpost from Noelle)

It's also really funny + interesting to me that, despite being very worried about the censors, Tenna really couldn't care less about the lyrics of Raise Up Your Bat, like the nostalgia just hits harder than any censoring

Firstly, playing in secret so you won't get in trouble is just the whole Sword Route thing. Tenna actively stops you from getting there and Rambs watchs out for Tenna, but this is not exactly because of Tenna censoring it just for being evil (the raise up your bat showing that he doesn't care that much about violence in fiction) but more because of the implications the game has

they're also one of the only one who recognize something weird happening with kris/they not acting or sounding like themselves

important to say that those two are my favorite deltarune characters so i am very biased towards them lol
