I'm open to change in my life, I truly am. Nothing can stay still forever, things need and have to change, and I'm okay with that. It happens, accepting it is part of growing up as a human being.

But my heart is somewhere else. My heart is thinking "why do you have to go through this now, why do you keep ruining things, why can't you find a way to find something stable in your life". I don't expect something to be the same forever, but at least long enough to feel safe, for once, would be nice.

And now I started thinking back to one month ago, when I still believed words like "you can tell me these things, talk to me when something is wrong, I'm not leaving if you show me your emotions or if you accidentally say something that hurts me. We're human, we learn from those things, we build them together" that turned out a perfect and beautiful lie. I want to go back, back to when this person was just a stranger to me.

And back again, when someone else stayed by my side until everything collapsed, but finding a way to prevent it by talking more, trying to find more ways to make it work. Back before I knew them, when I didn't have the chance to compare a LDR to living in the same house with your partner, because now every LDR I see it's a constant pain. And not only romantically speaking, but even when it comes to friendships.

Then more, and more back, when the one by my side was probably the first and only person I've truly, completely loved with every cell of my being, but everything happened at the wrong time.

Back when I still shared a house with people that meant the world to me, with a family that was shattered outside of my control. Back when I didn't know yet how it would feel to be held by someone who chose you for who you are and not because you have the same blood. Back to when part of my family was still part of my life. Back to how I didn't care about anything but my own inner creative world. Back to when being alone wasn't this heavy.

The more you go on in your life the more are the things you add. How can you be excited for the future when nothing feels stable in your life? Not the people you talk to, not the place you live, not your job, nothing. The only constant in your life is you, you and your lonely trip called life, everything else? Temporary. No place to truly call home, no people you can fully trust, because everything keep changing, whether they like it or not.

I’m sorry, it’s been a while-- but I’m finally back with part 7! Things are about to end here, but how? Will the Wizard succeed in lifting the listener’s curse? I guess, we’ll see in part 8, the last one!

Summary: After spending many days studying a way to lift your curse, the Wizard has found a way that could potentially work but, if things go wrong, it could be the end for both of you. Which, you’re not really enthusiast about. The last thing you want is put the Wizard in danger, after all, but… this one could be the only way.

[Tired] Alright. After long nights spent studying this grimoire, after long nights spent trying out potions, I think… I think I might have found a way. I’m not sure but, that... could really work.

[Worried] It’s… risky. And there’s no guarantee that it will actually lift their curse, but… there’s nothing else that can work. A metamorphosis like that cannot be reversed, even if they turn into a cat and I tried a counter-curse to bring them back to human form, they could just… be a complete different person. When the curse will be completed and they’ll turn into a cat, that would completely erase who they are now, and there’s no way to stop that. Unless, I do this and…

[Sigh]

But if it doesn’t work… No, no, I need to be optimistic. [Hopeful] This has to work. I won’t accept a failure. Hell, I’m a Wizard, magic flows in my veins. There’s no way this won’t work.

But still. Even if I do everything in the correct way, if it’s too late for this spell… then I did all for nothing.

The sun is about to set… I’m so glad they have been working on the front shop in the past few days. It’s all thanks to them if I was able to put all of my focus on this. I… don’t want to waste any more time. I can’t wait until tomorrow, because… any seconds more we wait, it lessens the chances for the spell to succeed the way it should.

And I definitely need their help too in preparing the potions… hopefully, it won’t take too long.

[The Wizard leaves the basement and goes upstairs, sfx for footstep on stairs]

[Sweet] Thank you for your help, Kitty. Let’s close the shop for today, I need a hand in getting some things done in my study… Can you please go downstairs with me and help me make a couple of potions?

Oh, no, it’s not for clients, it’s… Well, I’ll explain it to you later.

Great, thank you. I always appreciate your help, Kitty. I’ll be there in a second, let me lock the door.

[Sfx as the Wizard locks the front door]

[Whispered, thinking out loud] Sigh… please, let this spell work. I… I don’t want to lose them.

Before going downstairs, though, I need to get one string of their hair. I’m sure I’ll find some on their pillow… I can’t ask them directly. I highly doubt they would agree to try this spell and help me prepare the potions if they knew my goal… But this seems to be the only way to help them. I’ll… tell them later.

[The wizard goes upstairs, sounds of fabric as the wizard retrieves the listener’s string of hair from their pillow]

There we go. [Sigh] Come on, take a deep breath. You can do this. You can save them. Everything will turn out fine.

[The wizard goes in the basement]

[Focused] Alright, so: I need you to work on two base potions. While you pound the silver root on the mortar, I’ll take care of the other ingredients.

Let me see…

[The Wizard turns a few pages on a book, as the listeners starts working at the mortar]

Starroot essence, yes… I should have this one ready. Right… [looking for the ingredient among some glass bottles] here. And there’s also the crystallized moon water, and the ash of a phoenix feather.

First, I need to melt the moon water… then the ash is added little by little, and….

[Apologetic] ...I’m sorry I make you do all the boring stuff, Kitty. I would take care of that if I could, but you know better than me that if we pound the silver root in advance, it wouldn’t work the same way.

Are you sure you don’t mind?

[Chuckle] [Cheerful] Hey, that’s so mean! I can do that too! Maybe I’m not as meticulous as you are, but I’ve been making potions for months and months now.

What- Hey, if you have the energy to make fun of me like that, use that to extract all the essence from the silver root. [Chuckle] I’ve been making less and less mistakes now with potions, I’m getting better!

That’s not tr- well, maybe it’s true that it’s because you’re helping me but-

[Sigh] Jeez, just get those base potions ready! [Chuckle]

[Sweet] I must admit though, it feels better working on these things with you here. I’m not saying I didn’t like it before, I wouldn’t have become a Wizard otherwise, but… not doing all of this on my own, it’s more fun.

[Pause]

Well, that’s because hiring an assistant it’s not that easy when you’re not great at all of the things you do. I’m still a novice in the magic field, compared to other wizards. I wouldn’t be able to pay their work and I highly doubt that they would accept living here as a payment... like you do.

True, I give you all of the extras we earn, but an assistant wouldn’t be happy with just that. So…

Aw, thank you. I know I can always count on you. It… makes me truly happy that you’re willing to help me. You were a wizard’s assistant too, after all…. I’m very lucky to have you here, Kitty. My job is so much easier thanks to you.

[Small pause]

Well, is the root ready?

Great, I’ll make the water boil, so we can get the base ready. In the meantime, could you get me from the small greenhouse the dragon orchid sap? Thank you.

[Footsteps as the listener goes upstairs]

[Almost a whisper] And while they’re gone… I need one string of my hair, dissolving into the moon water as it comes in contact with it.

[Sfx as the Wizard takes one string of hair and puts it into the mixture]

And for the expulsion potion, I have all of the ingredients ready.

...As for the absorption potion I need-

[Surprised] Oh, you’re back! Thank you, you can add it to the base mix you prepared.

[Flat] We’re almost done, you can pour the mix into two different ampules. I just need to take the ground scale of a basilisk and-

[Worried] What… what do you mean?

I, uhm… [Sigh] [Sad] Don’t look at me like that. Yes, it’s true, these ingredients are for those two potions. I guess I was… underestimating your knowledge in potions. I’m sorry I haven’t told you that right away, but... see? [Worried] Look at how you just reacted! This was exactly why I didn’t want to tell you until both potions were ready!

Well, I don’t care if you don’t want to give me one of your hair, I already got one from your pillow. Please, Kitty. This is the only way.

[Slightly upset, but gentle] Well, I don’t want to lose you either. And if we don’t do something, that’s exactly what’s going to happen! Trust me, I wish there was another way. I know this is risky but that’s the only thing we can do. A counter-curse to share your curse is the only thing that could work.

Please, listen to me! Stop shouting like that! If we cast this spell and we balance perfectly your curse in both our bodies before it’s too late... before the curse affected yours too much that even when shared in ours we would both be damned… then the curse would affect us so little that it will reverse on it’s own in both our bodies, and we’ll both be human again. The potions should help my body to accept the curse and yours to get rid of it.

[Sigh] [Angry/sad] The more time you spend arguing with me, the less chance we’ll have to make this work, Kitty! Why don’t you understand?! I don’t want to lose you! And, no, I’m not going to sacrifice myself either just to leave you alone in an empty house with me as a cat.

Listen to me, I love magic. I’ve always wanted to become a wizard, and I reached my goal. But I’ve been so alone all this time, until I met you, Kitty. [Sweet] No one else made me feel this… happy. My days are so much brighter with you here. And I can’t bare the thought of not having you around anymore.

If I have to choose between being alone once again in a world where you’re not in it or sharing your same fate, I’d much rather take the risk of being a cat with you and leave all of my life behind.

[Upset again] To hell with magic, potions and spells. To hell with all of it, damn it! You are much more important to me. And just like you don’t want to lose me, I don’t want to lose you. And it doesn’t have to go wrong! Maybe with this spell everything will be fine and you’ll be free of your curse, you will be able to live your life without worries anymore. [Gentle] I beg you, Kitty. Let me try this. Let me share your fate, whatever it will be.

[Relieved sigh] Thank you. Now, let’s finish those potions, shall we?

[Flat] The mixture I prepared before goes in one ampule, the ground scale and the starroot essence on the other one. Your hair goes last, and… it dissolved. Now, as they cool down, I’ll prepare the magic circle for the counter-curse. For that, I’ll need my white chalk, and…

[Pause of a few seconds as the Wizard draws the circle on the floor]

Alright, so, there are two ways to cast the counter-course. We both need to be inside of this circle, after drinking the potions. And after chanting the spell, we need to… connect our bodies, so that your curse can flow into mine. There are two ways to do that, and one is holding hands by making a cut on both our right palms, just like when you sign a magic contract. For that, I can use this other potion to numb our hands so that it won’t hurt, and I also got this-

Huh? The other method? Oh, uhm, it’s… not that important, so-

[Sigh] [Slightly flustered] Well, the other one is actually… sharing a kiss. I mean I didn’t want to tell you because I didn’t want to make you uncomfortable or something since there’s still the other way so-

[Surprised] Wait, are you… sure? Do you really want to do this… this way? Are you okay with… kissing me?

That shy nod… I didn’t think that… No, no, I shouldn’t see a secret meaning. I mean, I guess it’s pretty normal choosing a kiss over a cut on the palm.

Okay, then. We’ll use that method. Anyway, the connection between our bodies must last the time necessary to balance your curse. If it’s too little, nothing will change. What I’d get wouldn’t be enough to affect my body, and your situation would remain the same. If it’s too much, on the contrary, we’ll switch our fate.

[Sweet] What are you saying, Kitty? I already told you: you are important to me. More… more thank you think. And I’m willing to risk my humanity if it means I have the chance to save you.

[Sigh] No, we don’t have the time to find another way.

[Kind, reassuring] Hey… We will be okay, don’t look at me like that. If it doesn’t work, then we’ll share the curse and one day we’ll live a wonderful cat life together, but I want to be optimistic. I want to believe that this will work, and that you will be human again.

[Pause]

Are you ready?

Okay. First, let’s drink the potions we’ve made.

[Sfx as they drink the potion]

...Yeah, it’s not the tastiest thing I’ve ever had. [Trying to cheer the listener] We might drink some tea later to make up for it, don’t you think?

[Chuckle]

Now… step inside the circle with me. ...Come a little bit closer.

[Heartbeats]

I’ll cast the counter-course now. [Caring] Are you absolutely sure you want to do it this way?

[Heartbeats]

I won’t be able to stop until the spell is completed, so…

[Heartbeats]

...Okay. I’ll be able to feel the curse leaving your body as it flows in mine, so I know when it will be balanced enough to stop. Just… keep your eyes closed until it’s done.

[Heartbeats]

[Chanting the spell in a flat tone] “In moonlit silence, where shadows grow... [Heartbeats] from one heart to another... the curse must flow”.

[The Wizard kisses the listener for a few seconds]

[Pause as the Wizard interrupt the kiss]

[Sightly worried] Did… did it work?

[Calm] Ah… yeah, it did. I can already feel the tail, and… look at my claws.

Alright, let’s step out of the circle.

[Sweet] Hey, hey… Shh. Here, let me wipe away those tears. There’s no reason to cry, Kitty. It will be okay, I promise you. With the curse shared, we finally have a chance that it will reverse on its own. And… if it’s too late for that…

[The Wizard hugs the listener]

I still won’t leave you alone. I’ll… hold you close to me, just like I’m doing now. Either in human or in cat form.

[The Wizard strokes the listener’s back]

Don’t feel guilty, please. I did this because I wanted to. [The Wizard tries to talk as the listeners keeps apologizing over and over] No, don’t apologize, Kitty- Hey, no- that’s not- Don’t say sorry, you don’t- Jeez, will you listen to- [Sigh]

[The Wizard kisses the listener again to calm them]

[Slightly playful, but still sweet] Will you finally keep quiet now, for a little bit?

[Small pause]

[Chuckle] Your red cheeks are adorable, you know that? Does caressing them like this make you feel better?

[Slightly shy] No, no... that wasn’t part of the spell. I kissed you because… [Sigh] [Sweet] I simply wanted to, and you weren’t listening to me at all.

We’ll see if this worked the way it should in the next days, or even weeks, for all I know. So… let’s just go on with our lives, and see what will happen in the future. If luck is on our side, one day we will both wake up as humans again.

[Chuckle] [Gentle] I can’t say no to that. We can sleep on the same bed tonight too, Kitty. Tomorrow too, if you want. And the day after too. And… [Playful] well, if you wanted to hear me purr, you could have asked that directly!

[More strokes]

Summary: During playtime with your partner, you’re starting to feel too overwhelmed. You’re not sure why it’s happening, but you can sense fear growing stronger, to the point that everything feels numb and distant, you’re only focused on that crippling anxiety. And while your mind screams that you need to stop, your whole body freeze, and you’re unable to use your safeword. Luckily for you, your partner notice it, says the safeword for you, and slowly helps you get back to reality.

Or probably you’ll just keep doing that, because that’s who you are inside, am I wrong? You enjoy getting punished and seeing me angry [chuckle]. I don’t really mind, though, it’s pretty fun showing you every time that you can’t win against me. It’s truly satisfying putting you back in your place.

[Speaker’s voice gets slightly muffled to listener’s ears, as their anxiety grows, from now on]

[Less soft tone] I wonder, though, if you actually learned your lesson. How many times have I told you that you need to look at me in the eyes when I talk to you? And still, the floor looks more interesting than me to you.

[Kind of amused] I admit, though, it’s brave of you to challenge me once again right after you got punished, you little brat.

[Small pause, foosteps of Speaker circling the Listener until they’re in front of them]

Do you really crave it this much? Could it be you enjoy it more than you should? Hmm?

[Playfully dom] Why don’t you ask nicely to get punished again, kitten? If you do, I might give you what your rebellious heart desire the most...

[Silence]

Come on, pet, I’m waiting.

[Silence]

[Playfully annoyed] And you’re still not looking at me…. Does it embarrass you that much to beg for your punishment?

[Silence]

[The dom tone ends here, turning into a more soft and worried tone] ...Wait, honey, do you need to slow down a little bit? Do you want to use your safeword? You look… distressed. You’re not responding at all. Are you okay?

[Silence]

Hey, why are you not saying anything? Please, at least look at me. We can end this if you need, you’re making me worried...

[Silence]

[Regretful, still worried] Say something... I can clearly see you’re not enjoying this like you always do. Your body is stiff and trembling, and it looks like you’re holding your breath too. [Silence, speaker’s voice get a little bit more muffled]

[The muffled speaker’s voice returns to normal]

[Gentle] Sweetheart, can you focus on me? I used the safeword. And I’ll say it again if you need to hear it one more time. Red. You’re not going through this anymore for today, okay?

[Relieved, sigh] You’re nodding now, I’m glad. I was so worried, baby, seeing you like that… You’re safe with me, I want you to always remember that. I want you to remember that, whatever we do when we play these roles, I always care about you. You and your well being are my top priority, and I would never, ever hurt you, not in a way that you don’t want me to.

[Quietly, still gentle] Can I hold you for a moment? Just… nod or shake your head for now, you don’t need to talk if you can’t.

Of course honey, I will wait if you need a second. I’ll get you out of these restraints in the meantime then, okay? We can cuddle afterwards, if you want. I don’t really want to leave you alone in the state you are now.

[Speaker removes restrains here, pause for a few seconds with just sfx of metal/fabric/stuff falling on the floor as they get removed]

[Softly] There, all done. I’ll get you some water, okay? And a blanket too. I’ll get them from our nightstand and closet, so I’m not going anywhere.

...Can I give you a kiss? You don’t need to raise your head or anything, I just want you to feel comfortable and safe with me.

[Small pause, Speaker gives the listener a kiss on the head]

Okay, I’ll get you all the things you need now.

[Footsteps, Speaker open the closet and gets the blanket, then pours water in a glass, and goes back to the Listener]

Here, take a few sips.

Don’t worry baby, I can hold the glass for you if you feel your hands unsteady.

[Small pause as Listener drinks]

Better now? I’ll set the glass nearby, in case you wanted more. And… here’s the blanket. Soft and warm. How are you feeling? Can I hold you now?

[Happy, still gentle] Oh, honey. You don’t know how relieved I am to look into your eyes again. Here, come closer, rest your head on my chest and let me hug you.

[Speaker hugs the listener and start stroking their hair and their back]

[Gentle and reassuring tone] You’re safe here, baby. You will always be safe with me.

And you’re loved. You know that, right? I care so much about you. I want to make sure that you still remember that. I was so scared… you’ve never reacted like that before. Did I do something that made you feel truly scared of me? Or that you couldn’t trust me? I need to know that honey, we can’t play like this if you’re not honest with me. I can’t do these things if you don’t tell me what’s going on in your mind.

I know that “you know”, it was just a reminder. What happened there?

[Pause, as Listener explains]

Okay, I understand. Your mind went blank, huh? So it’s not like you didn’t want to tell anything, more like you couldn’t. And I’m sorry you… felt that way. I probably should have been more careful and understanding the signals you sent, like when your eyes locked on the floor and you remained completely still whatever I said or did. That wasn’t normal and I should have realized it. I didn’t want you to feel like this, baby. But please, if you ever feel the first sign of something like this, even just a tiny bit of discomfort or fear that you don’t want, tell me. Tell me before we get to this point. Alright?

[Kisses]

I love you honey. Always remember that. You’re precious to me, and I don’t want you to ever feel hurt or abused by me. I want you to enjoy it with me, I’d never want to force you in any way to do something you wouldn’t like or wouldn’t feel up to do. I would totally understand and respect that.

[Soft chuckle] Of course, apology accepted. And I’m sorry too.

[Happy] Are you feeling better now, sweetie?

No, don’t feel guilty. Knowing you, I bet you probably wanted to endure it when you felt something wasn’t right, but I doubt you wanted to get to this point on purpose. And we both apologized, so there’s no need to feel guilty at all.

[Soft and reassuring] It’s okay, everything’s okay.

Just focus on the comfort of this moment, alright? Focus on the blanket that gently wraps you, on the beating heart in my chest, on my hand that gently stroke your head while the other one holds you close to me. Relax in this peaceful space we have all for ourselves.

[More kisses and soft stroking]

I’m not going anywhere, I won’t leave you alone. My arms will always be here to shelter you from everything and everyone. I will always, always, make sure that you’re safe.

[Pause]

[Chuckle, happy] No, it’s never “too late” to watch a movie. What’s the problem if you fall asleep in the meantime? Isn't it wonderful to fall asleep in your beloved's arms while your favorite movie lulls you to sleep? It’s supposed to help you relax, after all. And I’d say that tonight, my baby deserves the coziest night of all.

Alright, honey, we’ll leave the movie for another night. I’ll help you up, now okay? So we can take the bath together.

[Speaker stands up and help the listener]

Careful, baby. Your body went through a lot tonight, it’s normal that you feel weaker. But again, I’m here for you, so…

[The Speaker either carries the Listener in their arms, or wraps the Listener with their arms to help them walk]

...Isn’t this better? Now you really have to try hard if you want to fall down, when I hold you like this [Chuckle]. Come on now, let’s go.

[Footsteps, as they enter the bathroom. Sfx of water filling the tub]

Give me the blanket, hon. [Small pause] [Chuckle] Aww don’t pout like that.

Yes, I know you’re cold, but it’s just for a second.

[Listener gives the blanket to the Speaker]

You’re so good when you behave, you know that? [Chuckle] Come here, my baby deserve a kiss. [Kiss]

Is the water temperature good for you?

Okay, well then, let’s get inside.

[Both gets inside the bathtub]

[Relaxed] Aaah, this feels so, so good. Are you relaxing too?

I’m glad to hear that. Let’s just… stay like this for a little bit longer. I’ll help you clean yourself later, but for now… just lay on me, let me and the warm water hug you.

[Sweet] You did good tonight. Even if things didn’t go as expected at the end, you still did very, very good. You’ve been a good kitten for me, like you always are. You don’t know how much I appreciate you. And even when you look like a mess, you’re still gorgeous.

...And you are even more when you smile and blush like this when you hear those words [Chuckle].

[More strokes and soft breathing]

Summary: It’s your birthday today, and while you go out to get the cake you ordered, your partner sets up a surprise for you: he got you two presents, one actually being your own partner wrapped up for you. As you untie them, they inform you about your second present: hidden in your house, you’ll have to play a treasure hunt… but you’re not the only hunter! While you look for your present, your partner will wait for the time limit to end, before hunting you down. Will you be able to find it before the time runs out? _______________

[Speaker stratrs wrapping themselves with the ribbon]

Ughh, I thought this would have been easier with the experience I have, but a third arm would have been much helpful here…

[Chuckle] [Sweely] I told you I put a lot of effort in this, and for once it is not my problem to deal with the knots. Though I have to be honest, it is a lot easier when you’re the one getting all wrapped up, honey, compared to doing it on myself.

[Soft dom] Hmm? Oh, now you’re shy again. What, thinking about it makes you embarrassed?

[Serious] So, these are our game rules: I will personally give you the clues that will lead you to four heart-shaped chocolate, each one is hidden in a different spot- [small pause] yes, heart-shaped because you’re a hopeless romantic and I wanted to make fun of you [chuckle]. Anyway, when you find the hidden chocolate, you will bring it back to me and I’ll give you the next clue. The last one will lead you to the real present. So, five clues in total.

Hmmm, you look confident, but rules are not over yet: you only have four minutes to find your present. If you can find it within the time limit, you will win and I’ll lose, so I’ll do anything you’ll ask me to for the whole day. Fair, I’d say, as it’s your birthday. But! If by the end of the four minutes you still have not found it… [More dom] better go hide, because then I will be the one hunting you. And then, you will be the wrapped up present. Though I looked pretty good in this ribbon, I’m sure it suits you better.

Oh, now you’re a little worried, huh? [Chuckle] No need to, baby, you will still get your present either way. I know four minutes it’s not a lot of time, but I’m sure that you can do it if you try hard. Moreover, those clues are not that hard.

[Serious] So… here’s the first one, for the first chocolate:

[Happy] Oh, you found it! ...And you say you’ll do the laundry? [Pause, laugh] Yeah, yeah, “maybe tomorrow”. No time to waste hon, second clue for the second chocolate!

[Serious] “Hidden where the tree lights lies in its cozy nest, awaiting for the season you deem the best”. Go!

[Footsteps of listener going away]

[Mockingly] I wonder if my baby even remembers where our box with Christmas decorations is in the first place. This feels like a treasure hunt within a treasure hunt! [Chuckle]

[Pause]

...Still searching? Time’s passing, you need to hurry up, honey…

[Footsteps]

[Happy] And there you are! You have three minutes left. Here’s the third clue:

“I hope you know where the TV remotes often slides, for that’s where your third treat resides.” Come on, an easy one this time, you got this!

Still… now that I think about it, a small chocolate hidden in a sofa, might be hard to find. But hey, it’s not fun if it’s not challenging!

[Sigh] [Tired] Given the hour, they should be asleep right now, I need to be quiet… I wouldn’t want to wake them up. [Happy/grateful] I can see they have been keeping this place with care, everything is where it’s supposed to be. Oh, they also refilled a few ingredients! If there is already a way to do it, why create a new- oh, right. “A new curse is created as a way to reduce the chance of reversing it and side effects by perfecting it”. Is this grimoire reading my mind? [chuckle]. Seriously though, there are so many different ways to cast a curse that will turn a human into an animal… I wonder which one did the other wizard use? [Sigh] [sad] Finding a way to lift it without knowing exactly how the curse was given, it’s like going in blind.

[A little bit more confident] To begin with, I can confidently exclude all of these, as the curse only affects how the brain works, and not the body. But… wait, there’s more here…

[Shocked] What- oh, no. [Anxiety rising] Shit, shit shit! I… I need to hurry. I need to find a solution, I-

[Panicked footsteps] My books… [frustrated] why didn’t they say such a thing?! And I even reassured them about it… I told them that it wasn’t a problem, until the curse was completed…

[More rushed footsteps] [More anxiety] It wasn’t just a “feeling” when they said that sometimes they feel like loosing sight of their humanity. See this tree? It’s a silverleaf willow. While researching to find a remedy for your curse, I found out that this willow’s leaves are used as an ingredient for some kind of curses. Unfortunately, it doesn’t really help much with our case, but… I also found out that at the base of this willow, when it snows, if you use a specific spell, marvelous flowers can bloom. The magic helps transfer the vitality of the silver leaves to the snow that settles on them, and directly to the ground without it dispersing, thus allowing these rare flowers to blossom. Here, look:

[small pause] You first touch the silver leaves, and you let the snow melt upon your fingers. Then you touch the ground underneath, without waiting for too long, and… here the magic makes its trick. Look… it’s blooming.

[Gentle] Isn’t it beautiful? That’s the silverleaf lily. It… doesn’t really have any purpose, and it’s something that wouldn’t exist without the help of magic, but… I personally find it lovely.

I’m so happy it snowed today, so I was able to show it to you! And… here, take it.

[Happy] You know, since it’s the result of a spell, it’s not really going to wither. You can turn it into a pin for your hair, or for your clothes… I think it would look great on you either way.

*Frustrated* Yes, I am looking at you and there’s nothing “disgusting” about you! I mean… who cares if you have cat ears? Who cares if you have a tail? Fangs? Claws? Because I sure don’t! You are beautiful, even if you’re not fully human.

*More gentle now* Yes, there are. There are so many things about you that are lovely and make you unique, and don’t you dare say the opposite, because that’s not the truth.

If… this can reassure you, there was nothing about that in the manual. Even though you might feel like sometimes you’re losing sight of your humanity, until someone ultimate the curse, you will be both cat and human. *Gentle again* Hey, look at me. I’m serious. Your tail is soft, your ears are cute. Just like your fangs. Your sight in the dark has improved, your movements can be much more furtive. You can purr too, isn’t that relaxing for you too? Your senses are much more sharper. I know you would much rather be a human, but until we find a way to lift your curse, focus on this. Focus on the bright side of this shitty situation that bastard put you in: you gained the best from both sides.

They said their curse was about turning them into a cat, and they can shape shift only because they managed to get away in the midst of the spell.

Hmm… Turning humans into animals… Needed items… Side effects… Yeah, it says that not finishing the spell in one way or another, it will result in the subject being half and half until the curse is completed.

*Worried* Wait… Wait a moment…

*Sad/Concerned* There’s… no way to stop it? “Once the spell is chanted, there’s no going back”…?! What the hell!? “You can complete the spell later on, but”… “you can’t”… “reverse it”…?

Knight: Huh? How can you be so sure?

Prince: Because, I’m playing seriously right now. If I wanted, all of those ladies who ran away would have stayed by my side. I just didn’t care enough about them to actually put an effort in the relationship. But with her, things are different. If this isn’t love at first sight, I don’t know how else to call it.

Knight: [Worried] You’re… not going to use that, prince, right?

Prince: I won’t, if there won’t be the need to do so. But why do you care so much? [More suspicious] What are you hiding from me?

Knight: ...Nothing, just like I told you. It’s just… I don’t think it’s a good way to act. It doesn’t feel right.

Prince: [Gentle] Oh, you don’t have to worry. I’m the prince, after all, I highly doubt that a lady would easily give up the chance to become a princess. Isn’t that every little girl’s dream? But it’s not the only special flower we have in the garden. Lots of the flowers you find there, are only cultivated here. Some of those, are perfect ingredients for food. Others are perfect for decorations. And some others… [slightly darker] they have some particular effects when an infusion is prepared with their petals and is ingested. Or when it comes into direct contact with someone’s blood.

[Gentle] Do you feel slightly dizzy? [Chuckle] Lean on me, princess, it will soon pass. Say… do you know who is the one who takes care of the royal garden?

That’s right, one of my knights. And… do you feel anything for him?

Oh, is that so? [Chuckle] I’m so relieved, princess. I guess… you have no more doubts now, do you? Summary: The Wizard (Speaker), realized that he missed an ingredient for his potions: a particular flower that only blooms at night, with the full moon. He decides to go out to look for it in the nearest woods, and while he search for it, Listener steal his bag. The Wizard chases them, but finds them nearby, injured, and confused to see that the cat that stole the bag, is now half-human.

This is part 1 of a small series that, I think, should be around 7-8 parts in total. I'll try to update all parts as soon as possible!

What kind of sleeping potion would that be without THAT flower? Sigh, I really need to get better at this. If I want to really make a living out of this, I can’t just… training on spells alone. Potions needs practice too. And that client needs it for tomorrow…

*Shivering* Brr, that’s a cold night. Winter really is around the corner, huh? Anyway… let’s get this done. The moonlight rose should be growing in those woods…

Here they are. Those are really beautiful flowers. Even in a cold weather like this they manage to bloom, just thanks to the full moon shining its light on them.

[Bag falling on the ground, sound of picking up flowers/grass]

*Confused* Wait a moment… that sound… am I not the only one here?

More notes you can just skip: So, this script is very specific and kinda personal. The phobia of throwing up is a nasty fear to deal with, and sometimes it can lead to serious health issues because when you're too scared of the idea of feeling sick, you stop eating as a way of avoiding the (often very very vary small, close to impossible actually) chance of throwing up. I didn't know there were so many people with this phobia, and I haven't seen many scripts related to this topic, because often the not-eating problem is related other form of anxiety/issues. So, I decided to make one related to this phobia, and hopefully it will help those who could have struggled eating for this very reason! Remember you are not alone in this, and that if it feels too much to handle, you can seek help through therapy (and take it from me, it can be better. It will get better!)

Well... yes, in some way, the fact that your stomach is empty could be some sort of reassurance for you when you are afraid of throwing up. But you do realize you can't go on like this, right? Hey, honey, don’t say “no” right away. Try to change your thinking from “I can’t eat it” to “I am able to eat it. I can eat it. And I enjoy eating, because it’s my favorite food”. Remember that your body knows what it needs to be done, and when you give fuel to your body, there’s a very, very little chance that your body will send it back. Anxiety doesn’t help the hunger, I know, but trust me: you will be okay. Would I ever lie to you?

No, exactly. So: we’re getting a delivery of your favorite food...

Okay, you’re nodding now, good. Then, you just take one bite.

Then, we wait let’s say… 60 seconds. In the meantime you can take deep breaths, drink a sip of water, or just… watch tv with me. Then, we take another bite. Slowly, chewing as much as possible, and then another pause. You can also hold my hand during all of this whenever you feel the anxiety coming, ‘cause I’ll be with you for each bite.

We’ll keep eating just one bite at a time, until you feel relaxed enough to eat a little bit on your own, or until you feel satisfied.

And, when we’re done, we can drink something warm that will help your digestion. Not that it really needs any help, because your body can do anything on its own, but it will be helpful for your brain. Because knowing it will help your digestion, it will make you relax a little bit. And, if you relax too, that will truly help even more. Okay? Do you want to try this with me?
