Yukio denies his feelings, thinks he doesn’t deserve to be with her Shiemi.

Shura noticed that Yukio loved Shiemi and asked him about this and he didn’t want to talk

As Rin said here: “he hates losing”

I mean, he may not want to be with her and then lose her, because he hates losing

Unpopular opinion, it seems, but I’m bored and have nothing better to do. So, why not explain what I see in unpopular ships that I ship to the end of the universe and back!?

YukiShi (Yukio x Shiemi) - They’ve known each other since before Rin knew about any of “this.” Approximately 2-3 years, considering. Not to mention, Yukio tutored her in that time so they’re familiar with each other. (Even if it seems Shiemi is learning of a darker side of Yukio). (If you wanna pull that ‘Rin was Shiemi’s first friend~’ thing on me, I will correct you. Shiemi was Rin’s first friend, Yukio was Shiemi’s first friend.)

- Shiemi calling Yukio ‘Yuki-chan!’

- Yukio has clearly stated that he ‘feels at peace’ whenever he’s around her. Not something he feels around Shura or even his brother. (If it has not become obvious that Yukio has romantic feelings for her then I will shank a bitch).

- During the Festival Arc, Shiemi confides in Rin about asking Yukio to the dance because she noticed that he seemed stressed lately. She noticed this right off the bat almost faster than Rin did.

- Shiemi has the capacity to pull someone out of darkness. She saw it on Rin during the Kyoto Arc and stepped into to pull him into the light. Now Yukio’s going down a darker path, and I’m willing to bet she’s prepared to drag him back to the light kicking and screaming if she has to. (She’s learning to be more forceful and it’s great.)

- Shiemi calling Yukio ‘Yuki-chan!’

- Shura teasing Yukio about having a crush on Shiemi. (I live for her playing Cupid!)

- Shiemi getting Yukio to loosen up a bit for the party despite his stress.

- Both of them are (or were in Shiemi’s case) training to be doctors of some sort. In a sense, they relate in the healing factor and want to see people thrive in a healthy environment. They share similar values and they have that special magnetism and chemistry that not even Rin shares with her.

- Shiemi giving Yukio a four-leaf clover on their first meeting.

- I’m pretty sure I already said this, but what the hell! Shiemi calling Yukio 'Yuki-chan!’

Rizumo (Rin x Izumo)

- parallels are everything in this ship.

- Izumo understands Rin on a deeper, familiar level that not even Shiemi or Yukio could hope to understand. They both have some form of demonic heritage that dates back. Both of them lost their parents’ lives to a demon.

- Izumo gave Rin a pep talk on the train ride to Kyoto.

- They both opened up a bit more when they learned not to rely on just themselves.

- PARALLELS

- Izumo, No doubt, has some kind of crush on Rin. It’s especially subtle yet still noticeable after the Inari arc.

- The nicknames! Imagine the nicknames! Polkabrows, Riri, Mo, health nut!
