Paintballs Tournament, Round 1, Match 3!
Team 1: Lay & Hyejeong, in princeton orange.
Team 2: Hoon & Suzy, in forest green.
Team 1 attacks first.
The order is: Lay, Suzy, Hyejeong, and Hoon.
The judge steps to the middle of the synthetic field and, with a serious expression, glances at both teams. Once he’s sure everybody is ready, he nods to the head of the cameramen staff before rising his right arm up to the sky. In one swift moment, he brings it back down, and with a soundy “Let the games begin!” that earns gidddy laughters from the audience, he initiates the match. Let the games begin!
Remember: roll a die before your turn so you’ll know what to write! 1, 2 and 3 means you’ve missed; 4 is a hit to the arms or legs (feel free to choose); 5 is a paint balloon to the torso of your opponent; and a 6 is a headshot. Good luck!

Lay had still been messing with the goggles on his face when the judge announced the start of the round. He stopped immediately and exchanged looks with his partner, Hyejeong, before silently advising her to hide out for a moment. Rather than running in cluelessly, he felt it better to prepare oneself beforehand. Yes—even EXO’s spacy unicorn knew how to think ahead sometimes. His feet moved quickly along the synthetic greenery, and he hid with his back against a tree, leaning out subtly to scout out the area and also search for his partner’s whereabouts.
Once he was aware of everyone’s locations he stepped out whilst simultaneously loading his weapon. “Kind of feels like we’re filming an action movie..” He commented idly, feigning a fierce gaze as he looked around. “Bond. Xing Bond.” His eyes crinkled at the corners as he laughed to himself in mild amusement, and he clumsily hid behind a stack of tires—certainly lacking some of the finesse that James Bond would have shown. He saw a sudden movement and a green jumpsuit, and he hopped up, flinching slightly as he shot the moving target. His eyes widened at the realization that he had hit the opponent in the head, and he immediately rushed over to assist them.
"I’m so sorry," He blurted, bowing repeatedly. "Are you alright?

As the judge announced the beginning of the competition, Suzy was totally lost. “What should I do now?” Her thoughts came out through her mouth. She looked around for a few moments, searching for her partner that she realized that was already hiden in some place, then decided to do the same. Trying to be as fast as she could, the girl ran through the synthetic green grass untill she found an obstacle she could consider a safe place to stay. Took some peeks here and there aiming to find one of his adversaries to shot, and when she finally got the chance, Suzy dropped to her knees, put herself in the right position for better targgering and then she shoted. And as expected she missed.
Stood up from where she was and ran, taking care to sometimes look around before starting to run again. All she could do was to find another place to hide and then to try again shooting someone — a hard task. She was close to a tree she was supposed to hide back when she felt a wet thing hit right in her head. The pressure of it made it hurt so she put a hand to her head, on the exact place where the balloon has reached. “Ouch!” Her eyes closed for a moment. She saw a guy approaching wearing an orange jumpsuit bowing again and again. “No problem. It hurts but I’m fine, thanks for asking.” Bowed, before rubbing her head with the hand that was there trying to clean the black paint. “I’m going now, so get back on the game and get shot, please.” Suzy joked, a grin in her lips, before making her way out of the field.

Heaving a quiet sigh that she hoped no one would hear, Hyejeong fumbled with the jumpsuit she was wearing. The orange color would make it hard to successfully hide somewhere, at least harder than their opponent’s forest green. Apart from that, she barely had any hope that she would do well. Paintball didn’t seem like something she would excel in, but with a shrug of her shoulders she brushed it off and instead started smiling brightly, the way she usually did. It was just a friendly competition after all, to have fun, not to worry about whether or not she would be able to impress anyone. With that out of the way, she just went with the flow, and when everyone went into hiding, so did she, crouching down behind a barrel that had very obviously been set up just to serve this purpose.
With childish excitement, she looked around, unable to stop grinning like an idiot, though she liked to tell herself that that was just because of the adrenaline rushing through her veins. Nothing seemed to happen for a few moments, or maybe it just felt that way to Hyejeong, but she decided to take action herself, peeking out from her hiding spot and looking around for a few seconds before ducking again, then she repeated the same process again until finally she caught a glimpse of a forest green jumpsuit in the distance – or at least she believed so, since it could have also been a bush she mistook for a person. Shooting someone certainly wasn’t something Hyejeong had ever wanted to do, but she reminded herself that it was just a water balloon a thousand times and then finally managed to aim, resting her arm on the barrel to steady her hand. Just as she was about to send the first water balloon flying, her partner’s voice reached her ears and she burst out laughing, her shoulders consequently shaking, but she accidentally shot nevertheless, which only caused her to laugh even more to the point that she had to muffle her laughter with her hand in order not to give away her hiding spot.
Much to her surprise, she saw that she had somehow managed to hit despite it all – or probably because of it all – when she dared to look up the next time and her eyes doubled in size. How?

Hoon crouched waiting; he dashed off so quickly he didn't even notice where his partner had gone. Once the signal was given it seemed as though paintballs were flying everywhere. He peaked out of his hiding spot just in time to see Suzy get hit in the head. He winced at the pain she must of felt, but he knew he had to avenge her. He edged to the end of the bush he had been behind, waiting. He held his breath tight, his lungs seared slightly. He watched her leave the field, he had to take the opportunity. He popped out and aimed the balloon in hand at Lay. Sploosh~!!
He was hit! His arm still in the air from release was covered in paint. He stared for a moment, "Oh! um! I'm hit!!" He yelled it dramatically, turning to go off the field. He was stunned that he had been hit so quickly. He moved away quickly, still unsure where his own had impacted.
