I fell off from writing but I’m back. I’ve been getting really interested in food and beverage illustration, I had a sign of approval from the universe. A professor say my work and loved my sketch like designs, needing to be comfortable with my style of sketching and let that take the forfront instead of thinking it needs to be finished more.

Art Shows (and being selective)
So I participated in an art show recently. It's been a while since I've done so, I believed that I couldn't because I did not have a car, but that is honestly an excuse to stop trying. However, the universe provided a showing that was near my job so I could not have that same excuse anymore. For the show, I tried to have more forethought since again, I don't have a car to make mistakes. So I decided to have a plan for the following: Display: what to show, and print ideas. I took a suitcase and my spot seemed like the traveling artist. I provided a sketchbook, some prints to go through, and other sketches. Making them stay in front of my display for a long time. It was quick to put up and quick to put down. This method got rid of my excuse, however, I will still be selective when and where I decide to show. Vendors and artists I notice will do every single event, granted because it is their livelihood, but I am wondering if going to each event cheapens the experience of yourself as an artist personality. If you are accessible at a certain time, there is less initiative to follow you on things like your website, YouTube, or read your email. That is a theory of mine... so take it with a grain of salt. I have a thought process maybe I should do a show as a dropping products opportunity or new art and prints. Not a 'let's do each show and hope I get lucky'. A three-piece sequence or a solid concentration may add value to my work as a whole. Make my items a rarety.
EDIT:1
I've just applied to another show that on a bigger scale. More soon.
