The first time he asks, you’re stood outside your door. He’d walked you the short distance from your car like a perfect gentleman (even though you insisted you’d be fine cause Johnny it’s like five ft.). You’d had a nice dinner, your third official date with the boy. He’d held your hand as he walked you back to his car, insisting he drive you home in the dark. Then he stood, shifting from foot to foot on your doorstep nervously. “Can I kiss you?” He asked. If he’s nervous he doesn’t show it, just waiting patiently for an answer. You say yes because you’d been hoping that was why he walked you to the door. His lips feel plush and soft but all too soon they’re gone again only to be replaced with his bright smile before he bids you a good night. You stay watching him until he drives out of view.

To be honest, his original plan was to become a lawyer for he loves knowing more about the government

You never really noticed that you are co-members with Jungwoo in the photography club

Maybe because you’re too busy typing whatever you need to submit for your journalism class

Until Taeyong decided to make an activity that will be worked on pairs

That leads to you and Jungwoo being partners for this project

Looked so stiff when he sat next to you because 1) he doesn’t know how to interact with girls first 2) you looked intimidating for him 3) he didn’t want to disturb you because he thinks you’re busy with your other school work

Introduced himself as your project partner and you giggled because he’s being a shy cutie

“Alright, now about this project… do you have any suggestions?”

You openly suggest some ideas and ask for his opinions too because you don’t want him to think you’re being superior or something

To be honest you just want this project to be finished already for you have other things to worry about

The project is all about making a short film about whatever topic you like (which made you confused because this is a photography club, what’s the relation of filmmaking?)

You two ended up making a video related to both of your likes, which is fashion.

Basically it’s an evolution of fashion with a twist of love story in it (Jungwoo suggested the second part for plus points)

Because of this project, most of your days are spent with Jungwoo and no one else

One day while you’re in front of your locker with Yukhei, he keeps on ranting about how Jungwoo always manages to steal everyone from him including you

“You just have to accept the reality, Yuk.”

“Even you?! Oh my god, do you like him? I thought we were best friends!”

You were startled at his statement that you ended up slapping his arm but deep inside, you wondered if you have a slightly crush on him

Before you could respond to Yukhei, your phone vibrated and you see that Jungwoo texted you saying - “I finally got us a decent camera! It’s not expensive don’t worry, I bought this so that we could have a good grade!”

Of course you feel guilty because you know Jungwoo’s crisp bills are spent on a nice camera

“How many times do I have to tell you that you don’t have to pay” “wait i got us coffee because we will be working up until later” “a lady came up to me earlier saying that there’s a new restaurant opening up and gave me free food coupons, we should try this out” “i also got you this envelope and there are extra papers inside for your video flow”

You realized that he’s more caring than you expected him to be and you just want him to stop

You know he’s just being a brother to you and there’s a slight crack in your heart

Maybe this one time when it was raining so hard and you see him at the track field with his friends, and his hair was somehow damp because of the rain and you just want to throw your towel towards his direction

*coughs* he really looked pretty it made your heart hurt *coughs*

Secretly bought new specs (originally wanted to buy the same pair as yours but then you might feel creeped out) so he bought a somehow similar one for “aesthetic purposes”

Silently memorizes the little details about you - like how you always brought extra pens because you write too much, or how you manage to eat while the professor is lecturing, or maybe how you cute you looked while wearing a hoodie and pants

Once got worried because you looked so pale and literally carried you to the clinic

In times, you think it’s just a brotherly gesture

And it makes you want to drag him to the nearest corner and tell him “Jungwoo, it’s okay i can manage all these stuff, don’t worry about me and worry about your education too”

But then he will pout and he would scrunch his eyebrows, showing how confused he is because he thinks you’re PUSHING. HIM. AWAY.

The film you two are making is almost over, the only thing left to do is the last part - which is both the POV’s of the main characters

Basically confession part

You told Jungwoo you can work on each other’s parts on your own and literally rushed out of the room for no apparent reason

Maybe you felt extremely nervous when you saw him wearing a white shirt and ripped jeans, along with the red flannel wrapped around his waist + the specs

You think your ride home is going to be a chill one but you saw one of Jungwoo’s friends, Mark, seated in front of you

Mark gestured you to sit beside him since you two are schoolmates

“Jungwoo? He is really like that with people he likes to spend time with.”

“I’m glad to know that I am considered as his friend.”

Mark literally snorted after hearing you say that

“Friend? I think you should go and ask him if you’re really his friend.”

Which made you 101% confused because there’s in no way that jungwoo likes you

You didn’t meet him the next day since both of you are busy with your course and but during dismissal time, you waited for him outside his room

Once he saw you, he had a big smile on his face but got flustered when you reached out for his hand and gave him the usb (with the confession part)

“Is this the confession part?”

“Yes.”

“I guess I have to send you the video tonight, it’s almost done I just have to add up your part.”

“Alright.”

It felt awkward and you don’t even know why, you wanna scream out loud that you hate the thick tension in the air for it seems like it’s back to day one

He notices that something is wrong and his bright smile faded suddenly

“Is there something wrong? Did someone spread rumors about you or something? Do you want me to talk to your head professor-”

“Jungwoo. Listen to me.”

His nervousness increased for he couldn’t handle the seriousness on your face

“I think we should end this, Jungwoo. I don’t want us to be friends anymore. Also, I am quitting the photography club.”

Everything happened really fast and before Jungwoo could realize anything, you are now out of his sight

What a bitch you are. You are ending this friendship with him and quitting photography club because you don’t want to see him anymore? Smh, you like him.

You are starting to spend more days with Yukhei, the usual routine but a part of you felt weird because you got so used to Jungwoo’s company

Things somehow went normal for Jungwoo but his friends knew something was wrong

Also, he presented the video all by himself and got good feedback from everyone

Basically his plan was to show you the video the next day but then things didn’t go well as planned because of what you did

The plan was for him to confess through that video

There’s a school fair going on next month and they are in need of more photographers and Johnny decided to contact you for he saw the potential in you

“I swear I’m going to treat you some coffee or whatever you like.”

You shrugged as you check out your schedule, seeing that you don’t have any stuff to do for school fair week so you agreed

On school fair, you are teamed up again with Jungwoo since you two are considered as the Photography Aces (taeyong named that)

He was silent the entire time you were there but deep inside he didn’t want you to bother you for you ended your friendship and he respects that

You can’t handle anymore the tension so you poke his arm and he looks at you confused

“Can we talk?”

It took a while for him to realize that you’re actually having a conversation with him but he thinks that you’re just being professional

“Are you alright?”

“Honestly? No. I still don’t know why you did that to me.”

“Well I am thankful that we became friends but it’s just i felt like a burden for you do most of the work. Plus school is making me stressed out so maybe my emotions were all over the place so i said that”

Jungwoo felt so relieved once he heard those words because thank God, you don’t hate him

“But is the you don’t want us to be friends anymore part true or not because the truth is, I want us to be more…..”

He says that looking down because he doesn’t want to see your reaction or worse, see you walking away from him once again

But then he hears you giggling so loud so he starts smiling real big and asks, “Do you return the same feelings? I feel like I’m an idiot if I ask you if I can kiss you but you’ll say no.”

You nodded and then he cups your face with his hands and kisses you softly because BAM. YOU TWO LIKE EACH OTHER.

Everything is settled and you can hear his friends cheering from afar. (you two get free pictures from Johnny and Taeyong as remembrance)

First date was actually at the campus track field

He brought a cute blanket and little snacks for you two to eat and even brought the camera with him

Along with his laptop for he wants you to show the video presentation

Which made you a blushing mess for the video was nicely made - from the intro to the evolution of the outfits to the confession part

You think it really deserved a perfect grade, thanks to Jungwoo’s concept

Jungwoo always make sure you don’t get mental breakdowns due to multiple workload coming from your professors

Texts you cutely - asking you if you can go out of your room just to give you additional snacks or maybe just kiss you because he misses you too much

Likes to take you to the library to talk about animals since they’re his favorites

“They’re my favorites and you’re my favorite too so I think that’s cute”

Which leads to you kissing him on the cheek because he’s being an adorable dork

The university expected you two will end up together for no reason, they just knew

You two had a part time job at Disney World during summer and there was a time when he got asked if you two are already married because of your matching rings and both of you just laughed at the little girl’s statement

But in reality, he wants you to be his significant other forever
