Neptune through the houses: the part of your life that feels magical, confusing and impossible to explain according to my observations

🌊 neptune in the 1st house

i genuinely think this is one of the placements that gets misunderstood the most because people project onto you constantly. complete strangers can feel like they know you after one interaction and somehow all come away with a completely different version of who you are. you may have had experiences where people called you shy when you felt confident, intimidating when you were nervous or sweet when you were actually in a bad mood 😭. there can be moments where you genuinely question who you are because you’ve spent so much of your life adapting to different people and environments. your appearance can also change a lot throughout your life. different aesthetics, different hair, different styles and even different personalities depending on the chapter of your life. i also notice people with this placement are naturally empathetic and absorb energy very easily. if you’re around stressed people for too long, you start feeling stressed too. if you’re around happy people, you become lighter. people also tend to remember your eyes or your energy more than any specific physical feature.

your relationship with money and self-worth can feel like a complete mystery sometimes. there may be periods where money seems to flow in easily and periods where it seems to disappear for no reason. i also notice this placement often underestimates their own talents and doesn’t realise how valuable they actually are. you may undercharge, settle for less than you deserve or struggle to put a price on your work because part of you feels uncomfortable attaching value to yourself. there can also be emotional spending here. buying something because it made you feel good in the moment and then wondering why you bought it later 😭. i also notice people with this placement become incredibly sentimental about objects. old clothes, gifts, notes and random items become impossible to throw away because every object feels like it carries memories.

your mind works through feelings and intuition rather than strict logic. you remember random details, vibes and impressions that other people completely forget. you may walk away from a conversation remembering someone’s facial expression more than what they actually said. i also notice this placement daydreams constantly. there can be times where you completely zone out while someone is talking and then suddenly remember everything later. your imagination is huge and you’re probably someone who creates stories in your head without even realising it. i also notice people with this placement are incredible writers because they know how to describe emotions and make people feel something through words. relationships with siblings can feel confusing or there may be times where you and your siblings remember your childhood completely differently.

there is usually something hard to explain about your childhood or family life. some people with this placement grew up idealising one parent only to later realise they weren’t who they thought they were. others feel like certain childhood memories are blurry or difficult to understand. there can also be a feeling of never fully belonging anywhere because you’re always searching for emotional safety. i notice this placement becomes deeply nostalgic. songs, smells and certain places can completely transport you back in time. you also need a peaceful home environment because tension affects you deeply. even if you don’t show it, your emotional environment impacts you more than people realise.

you are constantly searching for meaning. there can be a deep fascination with spirituality, philosophy, religion or different cultures because you’re trying to understand the bigger picture of life. i also notice people with this placement question everything. you’re probably someone who has changed your beliefs multiple times because your understanding of life keeps evolving. there can also be a strange pull towards certain places you’ve never been before, almost as if they feel familiar.

people don’t always see the real you publicly. there can be confusion around your career path because you need work that feels meaningful and emotionally fulfilling. i also notice people with this placement go through several different dreams about what they want to do because their goals evolve as they grow. people may project things onto you professionally too and assume you have everything together when you actually feel lost sometimes. there can also be hidden creative talents here that you don’t fully appreciate.

friendships can feel beautiful and disappointing all at once. there can be periods where you feel deeply connected to your friends and other times where you feel misunderstood or let down. i also notice people with this placement become the therapist friend 😭. everyone seems to open up to you and tell you their life story. online, people can become very attached to you because your energy feels comforting and dreamy. there can also be experiences where you idealise friendships and later realise people weren’t exactly who you thought they were.

🌊 neptune in the 12th house

this placement honestly feels psychic sometimes. your dreams can be weirdly accurate, your intuition is incredibly strong and you often know things without knowing how you know them. you’re highly sensitive to energy and probably need much more alone time than people realise because being around people for too long can feel draining. i also notice this placement has an incredibly rich inner world. you probably spend a lot of time thinking, imagining and processing things privately. there can also be moments where you feel deeply connected to music, films, art or spirituality because these things help you understand emotions that are difficult to put into words.

✨ one thing i’ve noticed about neptune placements is that they’re often the parts of ourselves that don’t make logical sense. they’re the dreams we can’t explain, the feelings we can’t put into words and the things we somehow know deep down without ever being taught them 🤍

how to use this: read for your saturn sign and/or house. if you have both the sign and house mentioned, it’ll probably feel even louder.

✶ saturn in aries / saturn in the 1st house

i don’t think people talk enough about how this placement can make someone feel like everyone else got given a handbook on confidence that they somehow missed out on. you may have spent a lot of your life watching people be decisive, bold and self-assured while wondering why things that seem so natural to everyone else feel so difficult for you. i’ve noticed this placement can make someone weirdly hard on themselves for making mistakes because deep down there’s a fear of looking incapable or not knowing what they’re doing. another thing i see all the time is people with this placement apologising for taking up space, asking for reassurance more than people realise or second-guessing decisions after they’ve already made them. you can also have a complicated relationship with anger. either you hold it in until you suddenly explode or you feel guilty for being angry at all. many people with this placement were mature in some ways very young but still feel like they’re “behind” in becoming who they’re supposed to be. what’s ironic is that other people often see you as much braver and stronger than you see yourself. saturn here tends to reward you later in life with a quiet confidence that can’t be faked because you’ve had to build it from the ground up. advice: stop waiting to feel fearless before doing things. your confidence usually comes after the action, not before it.

✶ saturn in taurus / saturn in the 2nd house

this placement often worries about security far more than people realise. even during periods where life is stable, there can be a little voice in the back of your mind saying, “but what if something goes wrong?” i’ve noticed a lot of people with this placement struggle spending money on themselves, asking for help or even accepting compliments because they often feel like everything has to be earned first. another thing i’ve noticed is that you may have a difficult relationship with receiving. receiving gifts, support, praise or affection can sometimes feel strangely uncomfortable because part of you thinks you should be able to provide everything for yourself. saturn here can also make someone underestimate their own value. you may compare your success, appearance, finances or achievements to everyone else and feel like you’re not doing enough. many people with this placement had to learn lessons around scarcity very early in life, whether emotional or material, which can make you cling tightly to what makes you feel safe. ironically, this placement often becomes incredibly abundant later in life because you’ve learned the value of patience and consistency. advice: you’re allowed to enjoy things before you’ve “earned” them. life isn’t supposed to be all responsibility and survival.

✶ saturn in gemini / saturn in the 3rd house

this placement can create some of the biggest overthinkers i’ve ever seen. you may replay conversations from years ago and still cringe over something nobody else remembers. i’ve noticed people with this placement often worry about saying the wrong thing, being misunderstood or sounding unintelligent. there can be a tendency to compare your intelligence to other people’s and secretly feel like everyone else knows something you don’t. another thing i see a lot is people with this placement thinking of the perfect thing to say hours after the conversation has already ended. some people with this placement grew up feeling unheard, interrupted, shy or like they had to prove they were smart enough. because of this, you can become extremely thoughtful with words and very careful about what you say. the interesting thing is that saturn here often creates incredibly wise people because you’ve spent your whole life analysing everything. advice: your voice matters even when it shakes. not every thought has to be perfect before it’s shared.

✶ saturn in cancer / saturn in the 4th house

this placement often feels emotionally older than everyone around them. there can be a sense that you had to grow up quickly or become responsible for things that shouldn’t have been your responsibility. i’ve noticed people with this placement struggle asking for help because they’re so used to being the helper, the listener or the dependable one. another thing i see often is people feeling guilty for having needs. you may take care of everyone else’s feelings while quietly neglecting your own. saturn here can also create people who crave emotional security but struggle to trust it when they finally have it because they’re so used to preparing for things to go wrong. home, family and belonging can feel like very serious subjects to you. many people with this placement become the “parent friend” because they naturally carry responsibility. advice: not everything has to rest on your shoulders and you’re allowed to let people support you too.

✶ saturn in leo / saturn in the 5th house

despite what people assume, this placement can actually be terrified of attention. you may want to express yourself, create things and be seen, yet simultaneously fear embarrassment, criticism or being judged. i’ve noticed many people with this placement hide their talents, downplay compliments or struggle believing praise when they receive it. another thing i see often is people feeling like they have to be exceptional before they deserve recognition. there can be a fear of looking silly, being too much or taking up too much space. some people with this placement become extremely hard on themselves creatively and stop themselves from trying things because they fear not being good enough. ironically, saturn here often creates some of the most talented people because you’ve spent so long refining your gifts. advice: your creativity deserves to exist even when it’s imperfect.

✶ saturn in virgo / saturn in the 6th house

i honestly think this is one of the placements most likely to be constantly hard on themselves. you may hold yourself to standards that you would never expect from anyone else. i’ve noticed people with this placement struggle resting because there’s always something else that needs fixing, improving or organising. another thing is that you may attach your worth to being useful. when you’re helping people, working hard or being productive, you feel valuable. when you’re resting, you can feel guilty. saturn here can also create people who worry about getting things wrong, missing details or not doing enough. many people with this placement become the person everyone relies on because you’re dependable, but it can become exhausting when you feel like you can never put yourself first. advice: your value doesn’t disappear when you’re resting.

✶ saturn in libra / saturn in the 7th house

relationships can feel incredibly serious to you. i’ve noticed people with this placement often compare their relationships to everyone else’s or feel like they’re behind in some way. you may put a lot of pressure on yourself to make relationships work and can stay in situations longer than you should because you feel responsible for keeping the peace. another thing i’ve noticed is that people with this placement often mature a lot through relationships and learn difficult lessons about boundaries, fairness and self-worth. there can also be a fear of disappointing others or making the wrong choices in love. advice: maintaining harmony shouldn’t come at the expense of yourself.

✶ saturn in scorpio / saturn in the 8th house

this placement takes trust incredibly seriously. i’ve noticed people with this placement often expect betrayal before it even happens. vulnerability can feel dangerous because you know how painful loss, rejection or disappointment can be. another thing i’ve noticed is that many people with this placement carry emotional burdens privately and rarely let others see how much they’re struggling. you may want deep connections but simultaneously fear them because closeness feels risky. saturn here often creates people who become fascinated by psychology, trauma, healing and understanding human behaviour because you’ve spent so much time trying to understand yourself and others. advice: not everyone is going to hurt you the way you’ve been hurt before.

✶ saturn in sagittarius / saturn in the 9th house

you may secretly feel like you should have life figured out by now. i’ve noticed people with this placement often put pressure on themselves to have answers, know their purpose or understand where they’re heading. another thing is that you may feel embarrassed when your beliefs change because you hold yourself to high intellectual or moral standards. saturn here can create people who question everything and spend years searching for meaning. ironically, this placement often becomes incredibly wise because you’ve questioned so much. advice: you’re allowed to be learning. nobody has all the answers.

this placement often carries invisible weight. i’ve noticed people with this placement can be incredibly hard on themselves internally while appearing completely fine on the outside. there may be guilt that you can’t explain, worries that you keep to yourself or a tendency to carry emotional burdens that don’t even belong to you. another thing i’ve noticed is that people with this placement often need a lot of alone time but then feel guilty for needing it. boundaries can be difficult because you naturally absorb so much from the world around you. saturn here often creates deeply compassionate and understanding people because you’ve spent so much of your life navigating difficult emotions privately. advice: not every burden is yours to carry.

Linkin Park - Carousel 1999

"Carousel" originally dates back to 1998 when the band was still called Xero. Following the release of their self-titled demo tape and many showcases, vocalist Mark Wakefield left Xero in 1998. He couldn't perform live because of a really bad stage fright, so they were looking for a new singer. "I wanted somebody in the band who had the same drive and passion for melodic singing vocals as I had towards rapping vocals," said Mike Shinoda. Prior to meeting Chester Bennington, the band had been auditioning for a new singer for 4 to 5 months, meaning they had started while still performing with Wakefield. A new bandname, Hybrid Theory, was suggested by Joe Hahn after the mix of styles they brought to their music.

Hybrid Theory EP is the first EP of theirs released with Bennington. Originally released in 1999, the EP was reissued as Linkin Park in 2001 exclusively to members of the band's official fan club, the LP Underground. "Carousel" was one of three songs co-produced and mixed by Andrew "Mudrock" Murdock and Mike Shinoda. The song was written by Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson, Chester Bennington, and Rob Bourdon. Dave Farrell was added to the song's credits on Hybrid Theory (20th Anniversary Edition). The bass on "Carousel" is actually a synth. After the original release of the EP, the band continued working on "Carousel" for inclusion on their debut studio album, Hybrid Theory, but it didn't make it to the final tracklist. "Carousel" has never been performed live by Linkin Park once the band name changed in 2000.

also realize that it’s highly unlikely for someone going through what they claim to be going through to spam hundreds of strangers on tumblr all day begging for money, with the exact same or almost identical script that thousand of these blogs use.

block and report them if they pop up in your inbox, dms, tags, or comments. these lowlifes are a disease.
