Your Sweet Omega

Armand kept his arms wrapped around the other man as he tried so hard to stay close. Something inside of him told him that he might get ripped out of this little dumb dream that someone would finally come and rescue him from this nightmare that was simply his life.

Slowly, he shook his head while nuzzling his nose against the other man’s neck. Armand allowed himself to close his eyes even though it was just a brief moment. But at least he could inhale that familiar scent and convince himself that it was, indeed, real.

❝I want that as well.❞ To open up, he meant. But it was not the time now. He looked up, and his amber-colored eyes seemed to be sparkling a little. ❝Online shopping? How does that work? Will you show me? Will you wash my hair as you did in Venice? I always liked that.❞

He had read the book...it was how he knew his Amadeo was still alive.

Suddenly he chuckled and reached over to a tablet. Naturally, he already knew each of Amadeo's measurements. It was a gift to simply know that about people...perhaps in some way related to art though he wasn't sure.

"What sort of clothes would you like? What brands are you a fan of?"

He wasn't about to say that he had some rather...expensive clothes that had already been made for the other. But those clothes were made for showing off and not for comfort.

Slacks that would hug Armand's legs and rear in all the right places. Button down shirts which would be covered by cossetted vests...

He had worked with a designer on these clothes the moment he had learned that Amadeo was alive.

"You will need things for sleeping and lounging. As well as for going out and about."

He worked with one hand and massaged his beloved's scalp with the fingers of the other hand.

His arms immediately wrap around Corian as he lifts the other up. They can not remain here with Corian going into heat. It is not safe for an omega to be out in the open and in heat. Especially with a world now openly filled with creatures like themselves.

His ship isn't far. In fact, he pulls something from his pocket...carefully as he is still holding Corian; and presses the button, revealing something about the size of a minivan parked not far away. It looks nothing like a minivan though.

He carries Corian, and enters. It is much larger on the inside. The door closes beside them and he gently sets Corian down on one of the captains seats near the control panel.

"How am I supposed to leave you...if we are not even on Earth? Or any planet for that matter?"

There is a 'window' and suddenly the world around them blurs until they are outside of Earth's gravitational pull...though it feels as if they haven't moved at all. They are outside of the field of space junk as well, and quite far from Earth and the Moon for that matter. They are however, in a safe place where they can easily return to Earth, but also do not need to worry about anything hitting their ship. And if something comes too close, the ships navigational AI will take them out of harm's way.

"See...out in space, away from all life other than what is in this ship. But what is in the ship is all...lesser...life forms. Animals from various planets. So...in a way it is just you and I. Nowhere to go. I can not run from you and you can not run from me."

He kneels before Corian now.

He was. But he couldn't trust that judgement. He still didn't trust it as he took a step forward and started to reach out, before hesitating.

He was angered to hear that the other had been hurt by someone claiming to be an alpha.

"I would never force you to stay here, Orion. I brought you here to hunt with me. That is all. This place is wonderful for hunting. And for pack bonding. I have a house here as well. Though it does not have indoor plumbing. It is warm, and safe."

His hand was still held out.

Something in him ached even at the word. Needed to belong. But it hadn't gone well the last time, so he had to ignore it, or at least try, even as that ache grew into a sinking pit in his stomach that longed for what was missing.

"I know I still have a lot to learn." He swallowed, "But if I'm going to, I'd rather the guy saying he knows more to actually just tell me what he's dancing around." The full moon made his otherwise clearer brain struggle to keep up, as instinct started to take over.

He held out his hand now.

"I can't make things better for people like me if I am not here. The only way to make any change and make this kingdom better is by being here. If I leave then they'll make laws that outlaw people that are different. They will stop anyone being with other kinds. They will ruin this kingdom and I don't want that. They may hate me with everything they have. But I will never give up on here." He didn't realise that in his rant his glamour had dropped completely and he was causing various shapes out of shadows around him.

"Your uncle has no right to give you away. Not when you already belong to someone. Not when I was there at your birth. Not when I promised your mother that I would cherish and love you. That when you came of age, I would take you as my mate."

What he had slipped into Kaius was half of a pendant. The Prince would have the other half of it.

"You. For me it's always been you. But I needed to go away for a while. People would have noticed that I wasn't aging. They would have asked questions. I'm sorry I've been gone for so long, my Prince."

He took a step back.

He looked around, mouth agape, as he tried to deal with what seemed like confirmation of a reality he simply wasn't ready for.

Did Orion really not know?

Elliadore should have fought this more. Put up a fight and not allow his father and brother to have their way. Whatever was to happen, whether or not they succeeded in summoning another being from a different world, Elliadore knew his father and brother would use it to their benefit. He just couldn't believe this was happening. Elliadore couldn't stop the sick feeling stirring in his gut and for once he was glad he had skipped the morning meal because he would surely be spewing whatever was in his stomach as the chanting of the fae mages grew in pitch and volume, magic swirling about the tower with a violent sort of tension in the air.

The second fae prince shifted on his feet as the air whipped around the tower in a circle as if a twister would form right there. Off to Elliadore's left stood his father and older brother, Gregor, who had his hand on the hilt of his sword, ready to bark orders to the guards that surrounded them. To the second prince's left and slightly behind him stood the old man who served as his guard but none of them held Elliadore's focus as a light started to form in the center of the twister that had now gathered some items and debris.

Until there was nothing left.

Until Todd was left alone and the air was getting thin.

He closed his eyes, ready to die.

An abandoned fox shifter...abandoned again.

Slowly he opened his eyes, determined to watch his end, until a portal opened beside him.

Without thinking, he pushed himself through, crashing into...a tall man. Solid.

His smaller form seemed to fit so perfectly against him as three tails erupted from his own rump.

Three.

He had only ever had one.

But he didn't notice this now. Instead, his eyes focused on the man whose scent was so...intoxicating.

He pushed in closer to them, blushing.

Vincent seemed annoyed now that Kaius' glamor was up.

"Take it off. I don't paint those who hide their true selves. You were gifted your true form by the gods. You were marked as blessed. Yet you hide it away."

He mumbled under his breath about ungrateful princes as he set up the canvas.

"Now if I had you...I would never let you wear that silly glamor. I would parade you around Mount Olympus as the beauty that you are. I would cherish you like the moon struck being that you are. I would worship every inch of you. Yet you are so certain you want to live in this place where you are seen as a lesser being."

He shook his head.

Orion sniffed the air again, trying to discern if there was anything that felt ancient or powerful or not just like some run of the mill wolf selling him a lie.

"A yes, or a no. I don't just...sleep around."

But he reaches out, and the world blurs around them. There is snow on the ground where they are now, and the trees are evergreens. Despite the snow, the air is a reasonable temperature. Not too cold. Perfect for the body heat that rises while a wolf is transforming on the full moon.

Day two had him attempting to escape out the window...but it was a very long way down, and he had no means of creating any sort of rope to lead him down.

Day three...silence.

On day four, the guards were rushing about; unsure of what to do. Todd had been found covered in blood with deep scratches on his arms, legs and chest. Everywhere his nails could reach he was covered in these furrows.

One of the guards came to Lucas' office.

Perhaps. Armand wasn’t too sure about it, but it was safe to say that he was going through some existential crisis now that his marriage to Louis had ended and he was basically left with nothing. His fledgling, his first and only one, had turned to none other than Lestat, and Armand was the one left behind.

He cuddled against Vincent as much as he possibly could in this position. His head rested on Vincent’s shoulder, eyes closed. He thought about the other man’s words. He let them sink in just enough before the other tilted his head up.

They looked into each other’s eyes and for a moment, Armand was certain that there was no pain left. Everything was forgotten just for a while. Just for as long as Vincent spoke. Just as long as Armand was told to think of a new name. A thumb brushed over his bottom lip and made Armand tremble just a little bit.

❝I am not sure yet,❞ he said, meaning the name he could not choose just yet. ❝But I know that I want to be with you. We can figure out the rest in time. But I need you to promise me that you will not abandon me like everyone else. Can you promise me that?❞ Armand leaned his forehead against Vincent’s.

He kissed Armand's brow now.

"I'm sorry about before. But I thought you needed the friend and not the lover back then. Centuries have passed. I will be whatever you need me to be. Friend. Lover. Protector."

His arms tightened around the vampire.

"Why would I let my intended live with such a traumatic memory? I watched you for weeks. You couldn't sleep. I had someone take the memory of that night away from you. You slept like a lamb after."

In fact, Fenrir had never stopped watching Milo.

He knew that among humans he would be called a stalker.

But he worried about the mortal.

Muse: Kaius

Plot: Kaius has been told he has to pick his spouse by the end of the week at a ball and is a little sick of everyone suddenly throwing themselves at him.

Connection ideas: friend, guard, new suitors, uncle, any connection welcome. Taboo welcome.

Ever since the announcement his uncle made, everyone had suddenly been throwing themselves at Kaius. The people that used to openly talk about him while in the same space as him were throwing themselves at him. The people that avoided him were fighting others just to be in front of him. None of it mattered though. He could see how much they only wanted the title and not him. Some of them even had the guts to say so to his face.

"Look, your highness...I'm just hired to do your painting."

In fact, one hand is holding a blank canvas and the other an easel. There is a bag at his hip that is very filled with paints and his palette as well as brushes of various types.

He was well aware of what was happening to the young prince. Well aware that the other might be under some serious stress about it. Gently setting up his easel, he then set everything else down and made his way towards the prince.

Staying concealed in the shadows, AJ kept his handgun aimed at their back as they stepped into the abandoned church's baptismal pool; the groan of the pipes just loud enough to mask the mechanical whirring of his prosthetic left hand as his grip tightened around his weapon. Thankfully all of their valuable supplies were locked away in the wine vault downstairs, that was one less thing he had to worry about, but they still shouldn't have been here; they shouldn't have been able to get inside that easily.

"Hate to ruin your bath," his voice was coarse and graveled, his lips pursed and his brows furrowed, as he finally stepped out and made his presence known; his weapon still aimed on the now naked man waist deep in the pool filled with cold, fresh, clean water. "but I'm going to need you to tell me how you got in here..."

"No place is off limits for a deity. But this place isn't as secure as you might think. And do you even have a medic?"

He shook his head and tutted.

The Tower was safe, protected by ancient magics. It held many survivors who were thriving. The Earth Bound Gods ruled it, with Atlas Grey as their King. Their main doctor was David Hunter, a child of Apollo.

Fenrir was the recruiter of sorts. That is, he was the one who went out seeking survivors for The Tower. The Dead stayed well away from him and anyone around him. Especially when he was in his true wolf form.

Slowly, he dipped under the water. It felt good to be in cold water with it being so warm outside. Summer was hitting hard. He had already been looking for three days in the heat for survivors.

The scent of life had brought him here.

He came up slowly, water dripping down his naked form before he held out his hand to the other, eyes still glowing emerald green.

And as he began to undress her, she shivered. Not from the cool air hitting her skin but from anticipation of what was to come.

"I can absolutely get on board with no bra," she giggled softly as he freed her breasts.

She ground her hips down lightly against his fingers with a moan.

Slowly, he lay her down upon a soft bed of moss. His large, naked frame hung over top of her as he ripped her panties away.

Now she was utterly bare before him.

"We could of course do tests to see which of you is the real son...or if the dead man had twins and dumped one for a while," he mused. "It'd be embarrassing to have shifter genes breed true after all."

The first day, someone came to bring him cold water to bathe with.

He was grateful for it though. The witch had not let him bathe.

Luckily there was a bathroom of sorts that lacked anything more than a toilet and sink.

On the third day, his heat hit.

The scent of him filled the entire estate.

For some unknown reason...his scent seemed to seek out one person in particular though. Lucas. His scent wrapped around the other as if Todd wished for it to torment him just as he was being tormented without any toys.

Still, his heat had not gotten too bad yet.

Mostly, he was cold.
