Ok so this is gonna be a long post, and I'm gonna say right it might be triggering for some so official TW: this post talks about sexual assualt So I got my hair cut today for the first time since 2016. I definitely didn't intend for my hair to grow put so much, but in 2017 I was sexually assaulted and one of the things that happened is they pulled my hair very hard, and they used it to control me. As a result I developed PTSD, and my hair became a very serious trigger, and it can't be touched. Even I can't touch it sometimes. The thought of getting it cut terrified me and so I put it off for years, and then it got to a point where my hair was too long and it was a problem to keep up and out of the way, and it would catch on things, wrap around things, it just wasn't good. So after talking to a friend (Thank you @voldiebeth ) She recommended a friend of hers, and so I went. It was a lot, and there were many points where I wanted to stop, a couple where I wanted to jump out of the chair. I'm glad I didn't, partially because it needed done, but also because look at that picture. I look good as hell. I want to thank @jake.t.hair for being so gentle, understanding, and just all around amazing for the whole process. Anyone looking for an making stylist, he's at Ultabeauty in Easton, and I cannot recommend him enough..
