Can't believe that a silly show about countries turn 20 already. I'm not ashamed to confess that's my first fandom where I interacted with fanbase. And it was great! Because of Hetalia (and rochu) I got to meet my favourite artist and writers - the one I held high on a pedestal, works of whose that keep me going- turns out to be a fangirls just like me. It's insane how people from around the world can gather just to discuss how two nonexistent persons can kiss. Because of this group - I've become more confident, not just in speaking foreign language, but to talk to people too. It's a nice feeling to be accepted, to belong in the group. ...I miss those time, especially now. Even if it was so long ago, I'll cherish our connection forever. Hope to see y'all again, friends. Thank you, Hetalia, for bringing people together. It's the greatest gift anyone should have.
