Standing in Solidarity
When it comes to helping the environment, you have to be able, well-off, safe, and secure. And minorities all over the US and all over the world do not feel safe in their own homes and their own countries.
George Floyd was just one of thousands of innocent lives taken when the police brought it upon themselves to execute him. This needs to stop. One of the ways that this will stop is by holding these police officers accountable for the murder that they committed, or let happen.
Black lives are human lives, and this is something that society seems to have an issue with coming to terms with. Which is why the second thing that you can do, especially if you are white, is to check yourself. See if anything you are saying might be racist or offensive. See if actions you are doing might be detrimental to PoC, especially BIPoC.
Nobody is perfect, but we must all be working towards the goal of treating everyone as human beings. This is regardless of whether they are PoC, Gender Nonconforming, Ace, Trans, Non-binary, Gay, Disabled, etc. And treating other people as human beings mean to be wary of what you say that can hurt someone else.
Diversify
Many people in privileged circles do not realize that they form social bonds with other people of their same privilege. For instance, white people often follow white people on social media more than they follow PoC. So understand this bias and seek out more creators of color, bloggers of color, etc, so you can get a new perspective.
Also, listen to them when they say something is racist. They may understand it a little better than you.
Donate and spread the word
Not everyone has money, especially during this trying time, but if you an, consider donating to just causes.
One of which is Campaign Zero, which is an organization which works to end police brutality. Also, check out the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and Color of Change

Do what you can to help. Nobody should have to protest because the police are getting away with executing black people. Nobody should have to ve a victim of racist ideas and actions. We should be past this by now.
Let’s make a world where we finally are. PS: I am not going to respond to this post. I am not going to argue with people about whether black lives matter, because they do. I am not going to get into petty arguments with racists or people who defend racists.
Okay, but police killing more white than black people. It isn’t racism in police. It’s you racist because other lives doesn’t matter for you. And if you forgot we have more races than black and white. Other races doesn’t matter for you too? In 2019 police killed 370 white people, 158 Hispanic people, 241 people of other races and 235 black people. You forgot about 769 people, that was killed too. But really, only black lives matter. Or maybe I don’t understand something?
