To love the Everglades is not enough, we must find ways to heal it. Land back to the Seminole and Micosukee Communities. Oppose 404!

Fempower stands in solidarity with the Micosukee Tribe in opposing the Clean Water Act section 404 which transfers the wetlands protection and oversight from the Federal level to the State of Florida. In addition, that transfer also threatens many indigenous environmental rights and diminishes the recognition of important territory known as Indian Country.

Many have joined in a prayer based direct action today, for those unable to make the action swipe right for what you can do to help #defendthesacred.
