BLOG IS NOT SPOILER FREE FOR SEASON 2, SORRY

       the boy is already running towards him - as fast as he can, for such a small creature - with his arms open wide, ready to catch his father-figure in a hug ( whatever he can reach, anyway ). any sight of someone familiar is a relief in this bizarre and large new place - but its a special kind of joy to see him again. grogu immediately latches onto a leg, followed by delighted babbling and a large grin.

       the scent of food was really quite simple to follow here - given what looked to be a giant container of it. people walked away with their own cups of whatever the pot held; regardless of what kind of food happened to be in there, it smelled wonderful and he was immensely interested in it. unfortunately, he was far too small to help himself this time around, and grogu hesitated before looking up to whoever was nearest to him. an inquisitive yet insistent coo, he tugged on their clothing -gently - to get their attention, then motioned to the pot of food. hopefully, that would be straightforward enough for them to help!

       it took him a moment or two to recognize the creature in front of him wasn’t in fact, a creature, at all - and therefore, wasn’t something he could try to eat - but a person, smaller than himself. it was rare, but he’d seen infants even smaller than himself. ( but was this one a youngling? they didn’t seem like it. ) the little being was even talking to him, though their way of talking was unusual to him and he was far too absorbed in the oddity of it all to register very much. the child tilted his head to the side a bit, ears twitching in thought before giving them a curious, but gentle pat on the head in some gesture of approval. 

       immediately, what seemed to catch his attention was the other person’s ears; his own overly large ears perking up in interest. he was also able to recognize a fellow youngling, which only made him all the more curious about her. well...all that and whatever sort of treat she seemed to be enjoying at the moment. without hesitation, he toddled over and began reaching upward towards her - or, more precisely, her food - with inquisitive babbling.

       babie is here to play! here’s a small starter call for him! capping at uhhh four for now! starters will likely be short bc. y’know. he’s a literal baby.
