“ a witch...? ” quietly repeating those words to herself, her stare remained on her, disbelief. this was getting out of control by the second, but at the very least she wasn’t reacting wildly to it. rather, she seemed composed, too composed, as if she was accepting all of this easily. yet one shouldn’t mistake her calm facade, as she was struggling to grasp all of this.

she didn’t quite appreciate the joke she inserted afterwards, knowing how she knew what she meant. “ you know what, forget it. the hand was enough for evidence. ” & quite frankly, she wasn’t exactly prepared to see this all unravel in front of her...yet. ah, the things she did for money.

oh, so there was one. great, guess she should start packing her things & start on that road trip she had been planning her entire life. but alas, there was more to it than a prediction, there was a chance to stop it altogether. “ wait, you want to stop it? ” she asked, puzzled. “ what reason is there for you to not want either? i mean...isn’t it sort of your thing? the end times & all? or am i being too stereotypical right now? ” the woman couldn’t blame her, she didn’t have expertise in...demonology or witchcraft or anything supernatural in fact.

HAVING LONG SINCE BECOME ACQUAINTED with that sarky nature of hers, Masamune wouldn’t have wanted her to be any other way. Having almost immediately caught his attention, when he had gone on search for Itsuki (Who hadn’t returned to their game for a noticeable period of time). Having spotted the child and her amidst the chaos itself, and never looking back since. She was a BREATH OF FRESH AIR, and it was surely but FATE that their paths had crossed the way it had.

He would merely quietly smirk back in return then, having always taken pleasure in getting her to LAUGH. Even if when came at one’s own expense, at times. Grateful for the extra room that was given to him to him then, even he himself would eventually find himself lowering his head acceptance. As he would allow himself to further relax, arms would remain firmly folded across his chest, even as the rest of his form would begin to slacken ever so slightly. Masamune could only imagine just how silly this all likely seemed in her eyes, as he chuckled alongside her.

This after all wasn’t exactly the sort of attire he tended to relax in either. As the heavy armour and swords was normally set aside in favour of one of his HAORI and KOSODE sets. He had to get points for trying, however. And no, that was not meant to be a pun. Not so prideful as to deny the fact that he was a FISH OUT OF WATER whenever he paid a visit to these lands. He was however doing fairly well for a SAMURAI in a MODERN ERA GAME.

His single eye would intently take in every word– every expression that would cross the other’s features as she spoke. For despite the fact that an online edition of his game had since been released to bring in a wider audience, it still can’t possibly compare to the numbers that SLAUGHTER RACE itself brought in. This in turn kept his girlfriend a whole lot busier than they would have both wanted her to be, and was barely given a moment to herself.

His lady was a hard worker, who clearly had a lot of SOUL and PASSION for this game of hers. “… Tch.” He would simply dismiss with a wave of his gauntlet, “Sounds like you’ve been working yourself hard for your game… I get ya. ‘Sides, there’s no rush. I’m sure we will find a time for when you can finally come on over to visit us, I’m sure Itsuki would love that too. And we will even throw a PARTY just for you… an’ it will be an even bigger one than the time we had those DEVIL MAY CRY GUYS over! … So yeah, ‘got any idea when you might have some time to drop on by?”

many were surprised that she chose to date, as they were aware of how hard it was to contain such an avatar. & when they were first introduced to the man himself, they were in much more denial that she had chosen someone that seemed rather stiff, opposite of her. not many knew, however, that those criticisms were superficial, & he was far from strict. had he been controlling or stuck-up, she would have left him already.

thinking about it all, she had to thank itsuki for everything---from the moment she entered her game to the moment she introduced him to her. who would have thought she would befriend two characters from a game that seemed so far from hers? maybe this was how vanellope felt when she first befriended the entire princess gang at oh my disney.

naturally, she leaned towards his direction, her head resting against his armored shoulder. “ yeah, well...i have to. i’m one of the main bosses around here, part of the challenges come from me. & i always love a good competition---it’s so exhilarating, & you never know what’s going to happen next. ” shedding a smile, she paused. “ but it’s always great when we have a long maintenance done, gives me time to breathe...to relax & enjoy my life. ”

being asked when she would be available next, lips pressed tightly against one another, a hand resting on her chin as she tried to recall. “ i think we’re going to have a major one next month...so maybe then i can drop by, ” she responded, laughing a little at the thought of an extravagant party. “ if that’s a promise you’re gonna keep, then i can’t wait for it. you better not disappointent, masa. ” jokingly, she pounded lightly against his shoulder. “ speaking of itsuki, how’s the kid? has she been doing well? it’s been a while since i’ve seen her. ”
