You Must Gather Your Party Before Venturing Forth

Holy fucking hell I am so jazzed about a Fire Emblem game not set in “Generic Old Europe-ish Land” #628

Mixed feelings on the character designs. Some look really good so far! And I love that this game has so many characters of colour compared to other FE games. But also some of the saturation is really off, some design choices are suspicious and can we cut it out with the combat heels already?!

I am actually really curious where the story is going to go. There seem to be a lot of interesting things going on

That said I am worried how much they’ll try and tie it to Fódlan. I’m fine with a few references and such but I do want this game to be its own thing. Both because I’m tired of discourse and that it could really drag the game down

Don’t care for the moving sprites while the characters are talking. That kind of animation is sorta uncanny valley for me
