Leon rubs his eyes from fatigue, the book was just the same as the last one he read. He knows he had missed something he had too.

Why else would Tori flat line?

It had been unexpected he had been reading a parenting book when Nigel noticed something wrong with her breathing they tried everything beginning to become worried. You could only imagine the horror when they heard her heart monitor go blank.

He hadn't gotten sleep since. He had been no worried he knew Nigel was too Numbuh 8he had refused anyone to come into the room trying to take care of her and an inconsolable Nigel. Leon had begged to be allowed to help them nearly tearing apart the barrier.

He waited there all night wondering when he could go in. 8he was getting on his nerves.

"I don't want to sleep." Nigel cried looking into the incubator that held their baby. "This was my fault."

He knew there was something he could have done. He didn't know much about babies let alone human ones he wondered could he had done something as well that's why he stayed up reading books on how to care for human infants it seemed like everything was the same. No information on how he could have helped. He read every book on the ship about humans and nothing.

"Do you think this is my fault?" Leon softened looking at Nigel. "Do you think my powers were faulty?"

"It's not your fault. We didn't know-"

"I knew my creations only last a few hours!" He snaps tears trickling. "I should have know despite her last a day longer than the others."

"Don't beat yourself up too much." He looks over to the baby in the box. "We both thought she was in the clear after she made it to day two. We couldn't have known-"

"What if she dies?" He said his body shaking with emotion. "What if she dies and we can't do anything?"

He held him close so close it hurt. He didn't know if it would happen he made good points she could die on them. And Nigel couldn't bring her back as even a demi-God has limits.

"If is the keyword. We could also use it to say she could live and bounce back. She's strong she got that from you."

"I hope that's the only thing." He says watching their daughter squirm. She had been fussy about all the things tied on her and all the wires. They were worried she might pull them out.

"I rather her be more like you than me." He laughs trying to lighten the mood. "If she gets most of mine she's going to be a feral animal. And we already can't handle Chubbs."

"I can handle him just fine." He said after a few moments. "He only likes me. Your just jealous."

"Not even close." He says kissing his head. "He might be jealous once we bring Tori home. You know how he is."

It was true he headbutts and trips anyone he didn't like he eat other pets or attacks them to death. If anything he might try to eat their baby.

"That's why we're Chubbs proofing her room." He says looking at Tori who made a noise. "Don't worry he'll love you."

He poked one of his fingers into the box. She held it looking at him with a very 'Tori' look.

"I should go see 8he. He said we could take these off tomorrow. I want to see if he could do it early." He mumbled after a few moments.

"Maybe we should wait until she is in the clear. We never know."

"But what about if?" He sasses smirking back at him. "Did you just tell me that?"

"Yeah but this is different. We should wait the book say it better to be safe then sorry." He looked over it wondering if it was right.

"But those books are about your species not Gehans."

"But should we?"

They both didn't get an answer as Tori giggled at them reaching for Leon he smiled tickling her. Her laugh was something he hadn't heard before and he already never wanted to stop hearing. "I think we got her vote." He laughs as she held his top hands. She stuck her tongue out at him and he happily returned it.

"Your so childish." Nigel says kissing him Leon's ears wiggling with happiness. "I'll take it as a yes?"

"Why not?"

"You know what am realizing?" Nigel looked at Leon his eyes downcasted. "We just made life."

"I made life." Nigel corrects laughing at him. "Fifteen hours of pain for it."

"But why are you now just realizing this? She was born about a week ago." He looks over to the clock reading six am. They been up for a good hour or so after their appointment with 8he.

"Because today's the day we took her home and not gonna lie am scared." His words echoed across their room a bit as the new adults meet eyes worried.

"Me too." Nigel says looking down again clutching the railing. "Am worried about her future."

"Am worried about her health really." Leon thinks for a moment. "But why her future? We have money are about mentally stable and good people."

"What's there to worry about?"

"What if I mess this up?"

"Besides my parents I don't think there's ever been a good Uno parent. And am worried I might continue the cycle."

"Am worried that it won't be like what I thought it was. Mom and dad said I was a difficult baby and a complete contrast to how easy Aron was."

He hadn't really his mother and father about parenting. When they found out about Tori they were more disappointed than happy when the thought settled in. He got an hour long scolding on how parenting is and that's he's only seventeen about to be eighteen in two weeks.

"That I might be too much one way and it messes her up."

"Am afraid of going soft. I just fought in a war I died I have done so much and all that trauma is going to get to me."

"But what if it doesn't?"

"Then somethings going to happen to her. Something always happening with us and by going soft I won't be able to protect her."

"This is the best thing to ever happen to me." He says wiping a tear. "Besides you of course."

"And that if I can't find happiness in this am failing and I haven't even started yet. That I made another mistake because of my stubbornness."

"If anyone should know about family stuff it me. And trust me ending up like your abuser is something we all fear but you love her and willing to do anything as long as if it's within reason that's step one."

"You've got every right to be worried. I may not talk much about it but trust me." Leon kissed Nigel's temple wrapping tow arms around him. "I think I might be more worried than you."

"Really?"

"Totally no doubt about it." He says making Nigel giggle. "And I know it's not the best piece of advice but I think we just need to stop worrying."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

"If you worried about everything I don't we would have Tori right now." They both laugh at that. "You thought we would be great parents now maybe not but we will be when she needs it."

"You deserve to be happy. And this is definitely something that will make you happy."

"Changing diapers?"

"No. Making someone's life amazing by just existing." They both looked down again smiling.

"We're here because you thought this was a good idea. And I think we need to put faith in that."

They smooched each quickly and looked into the others eyes they quickly looked down again at their daughter.

She whined in her sleep as she stretched and then went limp again drooling on a bear Kuko made for her.

The sun was bright so bright it woke up Terry in a few moments. He hated it with passion and turned over only for it to still be in his eyes.

Terry sighed getting up from his bed his back ached and his head pounded. He had spent the night packing their stuff to move back to their home town. And like usual his younger brother forgot to pack and he had to do it.

He's gonna miss me when am dead. He thinks moving past his boxes to close his window. His boxes wide open go see his stuff he had stopped halfway too tired to continue.

"Your up?" He asks seeing the younger boy putting on his shoes. He was never up this early and usually woke up at ten or eleven.

"Your not." He laughs mentioning his hair wrapped and tired face. Terry rolled his eyes. "I am meeting with Valerie remember?"

"Your girlfriend?" Terry jokes leaning on the stairwell smirking at his pink face.

"No!" He says looking back at his shoes. "She invited me to a party and her friends couldn't come. And I want to be ready."

"What kind of party is so early?" He looks over to the clock that read 7:50.

"It's a long drive from here. The family is rich or something." He shrugs that's what Valerie had told him he didn't know the family either.

"What me to make you something?" He says walking down stretching. "Or do you want to wait for the drive?"

"I don't know may-Hey!" He says as Terry ruined his hair. "I worked hard on this!"

"Okay." He pulls out some milk and cereal. "You want some eggs or?"

"Naw I'll take a sandwich." He says looking for his coat. "Where's my-"

"Upstairs to the left of your bed." He finished knowing he never remembered where it was.

"Thanks." He said running up the stairs to get them.

"Where's my-"

"Up." He says remembering he put his sunglasses there. He really is going to miss me when I die.

"Thanks." He said looking out the window. "There he is!"

"You forgot something!" He says taking his headwrap out. He promptly came back and kissed Terry's cheek.

"Your sandwich you idiotic freckle!" He says as the girl in the car laughed at the nickname Ace stuck his tongue out embarrassed and the older Tornado happily returned the gesture.

But he did take his sandwich ad he would consider it a win.

He quickly needed to get a shower and put on some old clothes he needs to pack he couldn't believe how long this summer had felt.

The death of their uncle had taken a bit of a toll on the both of them he was always busy but he did make efforts whether or not they were needed. He left Terry everything in his estate. So he decided maybe a change of paste and place would help him.

He didn't have such luck. He had to be ready for a call every day about something. He had to do a funeral, a will reading, getting custody of Ace and on top take care of him.

It wasn't like he didn't already he practically raised Ace after their mom died. He still missed her despite not knowing her much.

And hate the bastard that killed her. He thinks closing a box angrily. He had his face burned in memory.

And if I ever have to-

The doorbell rang knocking him out of his daze he didn't even shower yet and someone was at the door. Geez, why is the world so up?

"Terrac-" a big man started. He wore a black suit and had glasses like any businessman. This should have been sign one it was bad along with his government name.

"Terry." He corrects instantly leaning by the door. Everyone always knew after a bit not to call him that.

"I have a letter for you and it's urgent matters we need to discuss." He started to be cut off.

"You have a warrant?" He asks quickly he was smarter than that.

"Am not coming in I just need to make sure this was delivered."

"And read." He hands him a card. "Call me when you do it seems like you have a lot to do." He was judging the state of the house.

Bitch. Terry slammed the door close.

Is it a government letter? No, it's never this serious. Is it the court telling me that I can't adopt Ace? No am almost 18 it's cool.

Then who the fuck was that? Is this blackmail?! What the fuck have I done now?!

Terry breathe and open the letter it can't be that bad, can it?

"Where the fuck is he?!" A voice screamed through the house. Everyone paused hearing it they knew who that was they didn't know why he was here.

Steve's head snapped away from Cree towards an angry Terrence Tornado who had papers in his head. His eyes were dangerous as they glowed purple and that was a bad sign. It meant he was pissed.

"Where the fuck is your father?!" He screams marching towards him.

"Outback why do you-" He couldn't even finish his sentence when the hardest slap he ever got in his life it threw him into the wall. "Ow!" He screams dropping his punch to hold his face as it burned as Tifa asked him if he was okay. His teens and their parents stood in shock knowing the uninvited teen came to start something.

But what?

"Terry what the-" He looked around not finding him.

"Fernando you little bitch!" He screams walking down the staircase that lead to the party for said, man. "What the fuck?!"

Steve quickly went to the balcony to watch as did his teens. His father stood shocked holding his mother's hand who eyes broadened at the sight of purple eyes. So did a few others knowing what they meant.

"Terrance?" He asks as his guests looked at the scene playing before them. Their eyes fixated on how angry Terry was. The way his eyes light up and his face of pure rage.

"What are you doing?"

"I could ask you the same thing!" He pulls the letter open and unfolds it."What the fuck is this?!"

"Paper?" A glass got thrown at his head for that perfect aim. A few gasped when Terry threw it as it nearly hit Rose.

"No a court order for custody of your son." He says looking back on it. "You never claimed him when he was born what's your motive now?!"

"What-"

"How are you pull up to me?!? Tell me " Oh I wanna see my kid so bad am taking you to court for it" like you dont owe him fucking thousands of dollars of child support?!"

He screams walking close to them as they walked back people wondering if they should call the cops.

"I swear on your life if you don't get your head out of your ass and cancel this court date I'll sue you right for negligence and abandonment!"

The air got silent quickly at that. Terry's face didn't look like he was messing around. Mr.Fizz took a sip of the champagne they were serving at his party.

"Terrance-"

"Don't you fucking dare." He snaps knowing he was egging him on. He of all people should know he hated that name.

"Fine Terry. How about we go inside and-"

"And what? Lie to me? Blackmail me? Like you did my mom?" He says not letting him finish people began to whisper.

"I never-"

"Yeah, you did you piece of shit." He says nonchalantly. He wasn't even mad very at that just disappointed.

"Why I never!" Mrs.Dickson announced holding Rose's hand. "What a rude ill-mannered boy. Whatever this is is being blown out of proportion. Did you really need to come today and ruin it?"

Macy Dickson always was a hard-spoken woman she always said what was on her mind. She wouldn't allow her best friends twenty-five marriage be tainted.

Terry looked back at her ready to curse her out and then saw a banner reading: "Happy Anniversary Fernando and Rosetta Fizz."

He didn't have the reaction you'd expect he didn't become sheepish or have a moment of realization he smirked with malice intent.

"Oh, so you didn't tell Rose this party is basically a lie?" He laughs like he was told a joke.

"Terrance-"

"Because you fucked my mom a decade ago? And hid your affair child?" He laughs shaking his head. "She could do better."

"Wait what?!" Steve said from the balcony everyone glanced to see his shocked face as if he been slapped. As his cheek was redder than his shirt. "Dad what's he's talking about?!" The realization of something hitting him hard.

"You a bastard! Your so lucky people are here so I can't kill you!" He stepped forward. "Kinda the way you killed my mom!"

"I-"

"Yeah, you fucking did! I heard that phone call!" He stepped closer again as his wife removed herself from this display completely distraught.

"Was she not enough?! You wanna take Ace from me too?!"

"I swear to God every time our families meet someone from mines dies! What do you want this time?!"

"I don't want-"

"Speak for fucks sake-!"

"Then let me!" He screamed back. He coughs quickly realizing he too now was causing a scene.

"I don't know much about this just yet this was sprung on me a few days ago. Whatever this is can be over promptly."

They stood there looking at each other unfazed waiting for the other to make their move everyone knew the air was tense and that they shouldn't butt in. Two minutes passed before Terrence moved.

"Dear Terrace Max Tornado, We hope that this letter finds you in good health as we recently became aware of you taking custody of your younger brother Alejandro Ace Tornado after the recent death of your uncle Ice Tornado."

Mr.Fizz gapped knowing he was backed into a corner everyone became speechless as they heard intensely Steve leaned in hearing from far.

"But we the court of Virginia state are sorry to inform you that you cannot as his biological father Fernando Burno Fizz wishes to also get that right and demand custody of Alejandro the least fifty percent."

Terry looked back at him testing him.

Say something I dare you. His eyes yelled smirking. 

"Your court date is the first Tuesday of next month. Please being a lawyer and any paperwork that helps with your case as we cannot continue with your demand for custody of your younger brother. While it is unusual to allow it to you at the recent age of sixteen."

"Please contact us or your lawyer for any questions."

He stopped reading looking back on him testing him. His eyes no longer glowing but we're deep purple signaling he was still angry. Mr.Fizz looked down at his glass knowing he was deep in a hole now.

"I haven't even opened the second one you bitch." He snaps putting the letter back. Everyone mouth was open even Macy's

"Terence is it?" His wife asks getting close to him. "Terry." He corrected taking his eyes off him he could sense she wasn't mad.

"What don't you go inside? I want to have a few words with you about your brother." She asked placing her empty wine glass and coming towards.

"Rose this isn't -" Her husband tried he was then giving a hard slap to the face knocking him in the pool people gasping when she poured her champagne on him. Terry put a hand over his mouth as she screamed obscenities in Spanish his way.

"Come on honey." She says quickly shooing him into her kitchen away from the eyes and talk. "You don't have to worry about him anymore."

"Now can you tell me about Ace?" She asks closing the windows

"Don't you want to deal with that?" He asks hearing commotion and Mr.Fizz's voice.

"He made his bed." She says taking off her fancy clothes and heels. Terry looked away for a moment and she looked completely different when out of fancy clothes she still had her makeup.

"Am beautiful I know." She makes a gesture and smirks as Terry softly laughs. They stared at the table not knowing where to start.

"Can I see the letter?" She asks reaching for it."If you will let me?"

"Go for it. I haven't read the other one." He says handing both over. He had been so pissed he flew over with his powers knocking over some cars and mailboxes he hoped no one saw it.

He looked intensely at her as her face went through so much yet not one tear. She then looked back at him and the letter he suddenly felt awkward.

Did she not know? Did I miss read her? Oh God, she didn't know any of this, did she?

Mrs. Dickson was right I just ruined her whole marriage. But I am right she could do way better.

Maybe I shouldn't have barged in and embarrassed her.

"Here." She says dropping a glass of juice. "It's early and you looked like you haven't eaten yet."

"Am good." He says not wanting to overstay his welcome she nods and drinks it.

"So want to discuss?"

"Sure."

Steve winced again when a new layer of ice was put on his face. Chad raised an eyebrow at him annoyed.

"Sorry but this hurts." He says remembering how he got the wound. Terry was stronger than he remembered.

"I still say you fight him or something," Cree said disapproving of him. "He just slapped you like it's nothing important he can't get away from that he assaulted you!"

"I'll talk to my mom about it." He said remembering his mom taking the angry teen to her personal kitchen even he wasn't in. They had been there for hours.

"Is what he saying about your dad true?" Jushtin asked confused. "Or is not?"

Steve thought back to something that happened a few months ago.

"I'll do my best Estaban." Those words echoed in his head as he thought for a second.

"Hold the fuck up." He says getting up and running the stairs. "Hold the fuck up?"

"What's this about?"

"Does mom know?"

"Who is that?"

"Terry?!"

"Dad!" He says coming into the room only to see his dad on the phone.

"So." She starts clearly and sitting properly. "Your little brother?" The teen nodded.

"He's?"

"About to turn twelve."

"And my husband's affair child?"

"By Stormy Tornado." He says wondering how she would react to her name. He didn't know his mother much but knew she was too much for some.

"Of course." She snaps pinching the bridge of her nose. "No offense." He laughs at it one of the better reactions.

"My mother had an energy very few could handle."

"We never got along with each other in our prime years. When she got her job in..."

"Being your husband's secretary and work manager. She always had papers when she came back home."

"Did she ever tell you about any of this?"

"No, not much. I heard phone calls and looked at papers my uncle filled me in."

"Where is he?"

"Dead. Died from an infection the same way mom my did. He leans back in the chair. " His was from too much drinking and hers was from not resting and getting help too late."

"Oh my goodness." Rose put a hand on his. "Am so sorry."

"Me too. I was nine about when Ace was two so about a year and a half later. Eight years ago next month."

"She died before she could file a case against him. And didn't believe it would matter too much that's when we moved to my uncle."

"Did you ever say goodbye?"

"Terry honey? Please take care of him for me."

"No."

"Am sorry. I lost my mother when I was younger as well."

"Do you need money?" She says getting his letters. "Most of this is expensive. And we haven't even opened the second one."

"You can open it and tell me what's in it. Am getting a headache."

"Milk sugar and cinnamon works wonders." She said as she used her nails to cut it open. She read-intensive not missing a beat Terry looked behind a curtain she pulled and saw people pooling out.

She cursed in Spanish.

"What?"

"Forgive me but this has made the situation worse. Because my husband has sued for custody it makes your case harder.

"Why do you seem so tense?" Ace asked looking at the older Tornado. His hands were shaking or holding the wheel too tight.

"Nothing. Am just keeping my promise and giving you to meet your brother."

"I met him yesterday he seemed fine."

"He wanted to meet you properly. And so does Rose." He turns to a light.

"Rose?"

"Yeah, you were at her party and her house the other day." Terry laughs realizing as he was too caught on his date with Nigel he didn't notice.

"Freckle honey-"

"Terry." He moans at the nickname. He was grown enough to not need it." No."

"What you think because you're a pre-teen you don't need a nickname?"

"Ace is my nickname." He says watching something bright past him.

"Okay Freckle." They pull up to Rose's home.

"Is my dad here?" He asks quickly he didn't want to see him just yet.

"No. He's been kicked don't worry about him." Terry opened his door for him as he waited too long. He didn't move but looked at Terry with betrayal his eyes begging him not to do this.

"Come on," Terry said hefting him up when Ace wouldn't move. Ace was heavier than he imagined but it was in a good way.

"Terry am your only brother do you want to do this? Hand me over to the people who killed mom?"

"Who might not give me back?"

Ace heard the door ring he tightened his hold on Terry him and his big mouth!

"Is he-?" A voice

"Awake." Terry placed him on the ground and made him face Steve he was really tall and broad. They had the same freckles plastered all over the place they had the same hair color and both a taste for sunglasses the nose was another factor.

"Little dude?" He asked looking down on him. "I get that am good looking but you don't need to stare." He smirks bending down a little to look at him. Ace looked and saw a few other teens laughing with him.

"Terry doesn't do this to me." He grabs his hand holding it tightly as he backed up. "You said you loved me."

"And you said you wanted to know Steve." Terry crouched down to him smirking.

"I say a lot of things I don't mean you raised me you know this."

"Just two hours it's fine-"

"What if he kills me? He's a child abuser!"

"Hey!" He barks. "Am right here!" They both made eye contact and then went back to Ace begging for his life.

"Terry I'll never disobey again. I'll do chores I'll do anything."

"You can do this for a start."

"...Money?"

"Whose money? Because am not giving it to you."

"Six hundred dollars?" He offers he never gave Terry money or anyone for that matter.

"You earned that money it's rude to take a paycheck." He says politely.

"What about-"

"Alejandro." He snaps

"Terrance." He says back pleading. Terry got up and sighed. "Come here, Steven."

"Steve." He says as they walked out for a few moments. Terry couldn't see what they were saying but knew by Terry's mannerisms he was in control.

"Okay then," Terry said handing Ace his phone. "Call if needed." Terry kisses him on the cheek. "I love you."

"If you did you wouldn't be so petty!" He yells as he walks away. Terry didn't look back and hopped in the car and left with much of a look back. "Don't have too much fun without me!"

"You gonna make that face the whole time your here?" He asks closing the door.

"Call him back for me."

"Kid am not going to kill you. I don't know what you heard but I just want to get to know you."

"Why?"

"You're my brother?" He said it like it was obvious

"Half brother." He strongly clarifies.

"No. We not doing that." He said angry and disappointed he shook his head.

"Then what are we doing?"

"Bonding let's get my car." He shakes a few keys in front of him smirking. It looked familiar.

"Does Terry know?" Terry would beat his butt if he knew what he was doing. Terry was scary when he was mad.

"If he knew everything I did he wouldn't allow me miles near you."

"..."

"Kid," Steve said impatiently as he made a face. "I will never try to kill you."

"What do you mean?" Terry asked taking the paper.

"Because someone is battling you for  custody it means you have to prove yourself a better parent." She says as he read it his headache getting bigger.

"Can't I sue back?"

"You're not Ace's mother or him. I don't think you can."

"He knew about him and didn't claim him. He was asked for money and denied it to my mother. That's got to count for something."

"Do you have proof?"

"Only that her injuries were from overworking herself." He sighs.

"I'll talk to him about it. If he never tried to get custody before I doubt now is for a good reason." She offers smiling trying her best to seem not antsy.

"Will that stop this?"

"...No. You still have to prove you're a good guardian by being investigated-"

"Investigated? For what!"

"When the court sees someone trying to get custody they will think something is up and look very deeply into it."

Ten minutes passed as Terry read and read that letter.

"Is there any way I could do?"

"You could-"

"Terrance Tornado?" A female said snapping him out of it. "Are you here?"

"Yes." He says getting up. "Am here."

"Mrs. John will see you in room 629." She says and calls out the next name.

He speeds walks through the place nerves raking through him he couldn't believe he had to do this. He stops in front of the door his head pounding from stress and tears building up.

"Take care of him for me." He breathed feeling like he couldn't do this. He had to no one else could. He couldn't ask Rose for favors anymore a parent needs to make ends meet and they don't rely on others.

"Terrance?" She asked looking up his file.

"Yes ma'am?"

"Anything I need to know about?" Her dark eyes made their way to his soul.

I nearly drank a wine bottle before I came here.

"No ma'am." His hands tighten on his knees as he bounced his fingers he had crosses his legs so as not fidget too much

"Do you know why you're doing this?"

"I need to prove am to perfect guardian to take custody of my younger brother."

"Good. And you know one mess up would  ruin your chances?"

"Yes." His eyes burned as he clawed his knee stress building fast.

"Well let's begin?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Age?"

"Fifteen."

"Full name?"

"Terrence Maxwell Tornado."

"Person your trying go have custody of?"

"Alejandro Mal Tornado."

"Age?"

"Ten."

"You are aware you way younger than eighteen? Can you tell me why you need this?"

"My uncle Ice Tornado recently passed. And I don't want Ace to be separated from me."

"Your parents?"

"Our mother is dead my father is unknown." He was never told who his dad was. When he asked she brushed it off quickly and changed the subject.

"You are aware Alejandro's father Fernando Bruno Fizz wishes to have custody of Ace?"

"Yes ma'am."

"What?" Terry asked looking at his younger brother Ace stood intensely. "Yeah what of it?"

"You told me we were here for space. Was that a lie?" He asks looking up at him he hears he was angry but couldn't see it his eyes hidden by black glass.

"No." He said trying to sound as normal as possible. It wasn't a lie more of a half-truth as it was reason number two.

"Then what was that scene you made at the Fizzes party? You said you didn't know him."

"I don't!" Terry's mind completely slipped on the fact that Ace saw him out Fernando on his bullshit.

"You know Estaban!" He says annoyed that yet again Terry was treating him like a child.

Your always like this. They both thought annoyed.

"Steve." He corrects rubbing his head. He looked at the clock 1 pm. He can't send him to bed or even tell him to go do something.

"Look this is something we can't talk about because of-"

"Mom?" He says getting closer. "Did she die because-"

"She died of bad health." He snaps annoyed now. "And a lot of factors played into that."

"One of them was the Fizzes?"

"Ace-"

"Terry, please just tell-"

"Alejandro!" He snaps as Ace frowned. "Just let me take care if this okay?"

"Fine." He snaps leaving. "I'll just be left in the dark like always."

"Ace-" His door slammed like an angsty teen.

"This family." He says thinking back on Rose's words. 

"This family can be a bit much sometimes. More so now that you too are a part of it."

"I mean no offense." She said quickly realizing what it sounded like. "I just-"

"I get it." He had smiled knowing it was true.

"Ace am going out okay?" He said knocking on the door. "Leave a note and you can co do whatever."

He knew he was in there. He had shut the windows from the outside last night as they were leaving and didn't want something coming in like last year.

Terry quickly showered put on some clothes and took with him his bag putting his letters. He needed to know if he could move with all that's going on or if it would look bad and make sure he had enough money to move back.

The bank was a long walk and Terry felt like he could use it to clear his head on what went down earlier. He wondered how fast the news would flood to other people.

They were a hundred people at that party everyone saw it not doubts- His train of thought stopped abruptly when a realization bounced off.

Ace was at that party he saw me go off on them. The Fizzes house was a long drive that's why I flew they were having a party early to make sure everyone could come. Why the fuck did I not make that connection?!

He quickly took out his phone as he stopped a block or two before making it he need to make sure Ace was okay and well.

Fine. Am going to Valeries be back later.

He must be thinking that I lied. I have in some degrees but it was only for his best.

But who are you to decide that?

As that snapped him out of it Terry's ears heard something a few blocks away.

"Did Steve ever say anything?" A girl named Maxine asked. "Like he got slapped into a wall!"

"Isn't he mad?" Andria her best friend scoffed. "Of course he is. He just ruined his parent's marriage and slapped him for no reason."

"Terry's never reliable anyway he's always slacking off and being rude. He's bound to fight him." Andria said clicking away at her phone.

Like some over glorified child abuser can take me. He thinks ever since he came into the show the teens haven't won any awards he hasn't gotten.

"And it's so unfair how he so perfect for everyone else! All the villains love him and hate us! None of them know how shitty he is-"

Terry smirked as Maxine made eye contact with him.

"Oh really now?" He says looking them up and down. "What's Stevie boy gonna do?" He laughs when they don't say anything back.

"Funny." He says walking away he always hated the cheerleaders. Ever since Sara told everyone he broke up with her through a text they hated him he hadn't though. They hated him just like he hated his bank statement three thousand looked back at him mocking him.

It was enough to fly back home but not too to pay for anything relating to his case he needed to call his family lawyer and ask.

"Hey, Terry." Her voice proclaimed as papers were being moved. "Gald you phoned did you hear that your case is being challenged by Fernando Fizz?"

"Yeah. Just got the letters. You need those?"

"Yeah. And I need you to come here as fast as you can to work this out. Your case was already as tricky as it is. With Ace's bio father wanting custody and you being a teen he might win."

"Can't I sue him back? He says annoyed. "He owes thousands of child support-"

"Trust me I know but your mother never made a case she-"

"Died before she could make one." He finished somberly his ears started to ring.

"...Yeah." She answers back knowing it was a sore subject. "Does Ace know?"

"For the most part some of it yeah. I need to sit him down first."

"Okay then. We have two weeks before summer ends I think you should tell him and come deal with this."

"Okay." He sighs. He never thought he'd have to tell Ace like this he wanted to wait until he asked again or was eighteen.

"Okay, Terry just go bake a pie for something." He tried calming himself his mom use to do the same thing and he picked it up somehow.

He had enough food to spare for one plus he needed to talk about everything with Ace.

He has the right to know his family. Whether it not their bad people and I can't say much either.

The walk was shorter as he got the fruit and went to check it out. He should be back in no one swipe.

"Did you hear that Ferna has an affair kid?"

Oh my fucking God. He thinks knowing what was going on.

"No."  A make whispered hearing his wife.

"Yeah, some teen came up in the party about child support money he owes her."

"He cheated with a teen?" His mouth opened in shock. "On Rose?"

"She seems fine with it she spent a few hours talking with her. She threw him into the pool."

"Oh my goodness where did you learn this?"

"It's all the guests are talking about. My friend heard it from her daughter. All the girls won't stop talking."

"How's Steve the poor baby."

The only thing they got right is that he's a baby. He looks over as the lady scanned one last item.

"Don't know he did get slapped into a wall. He's definitely hurt psychically if not emotionally."

"Wow. What are they gonna do?"

"Next person sir." She said as the person in front left.

He got out of there quickly not wanting to know more. He didn't think it was spread so quickly it had only been four hours.

He breathed deeply when he got home Ace's door was open meaning he was gone.

Do I have to leave him here? He might choose to stay here.

No, he wouldn't.  He might Nigel is here he closer with the friends he has here.

Rose and Fernando could provide for him better than I ever could. They're loaded with money and have millions saved up I don't even have enough to challenge his case.

What if he does win? What would he do?

Ace might not want to see me after I lied he might hate me if he doesn't already.

Moms probably rolling in her grave. She must be pissed I didn't keep my agreement. Am handing him over to the people that killed her.

What if they kill Ace? What if he ends up hurt?

Stevens just like his father he might.

Then am going to be alone then am going to be responsible and then I have to live with that guilt.

Am I going to even have money to pay for the change?

"Please come to me if you need anything." Roses words came back to him.

"Could I really ask though?" He says to one he looks back to the clock 3 pm he heard something.

Ace wouldn't come back for an hour or more who the fuck was that?

He quickly went to get it hoping it was him he got the man of the hour himself.

Steven Fizz with a banged-up cheek.

He slammed the door. Not today no fucking way.

"Terry come on!" He says banging on the door. "Can we talk?"

"No!" He yells from the kitchen. "Get out!"

"Why do you have to be like this?! Can we not have a talk person to person?!"

"Fuck you!" He yells back. "Get the fuck out!"

"Terry." He says to the door he sounds more disappointed than angry.

"Estaban." He says rolling up the curtains of the window. He loved the way his face looked when he called him his real name he smirked like an evil character.

"Terry, can we talk?"

"We are aren't we?"

"Face to face."

"We are aren't we?" He says like a broken record.

"Fine. The boy I helped in the hospital was that Ace?"

"No."

"Your lying. I saw him at the party talking with Nigel. Is he in the knd?"

"No." That was actually the truth.

"Are you going to be like this the whole time?"

"Yes."

Steve sighed running a hand through his hair. "My dad won't say anything and my mom was the one who talked to you-"

"And it was confidential. It doesn't concern you."

"It kinda did when you-"

"Your father ruined everything, not me." He butts in knowing where it was going.

"Ruined the party by outing my BS." He continues. "I have a half brother?"

"Yeah." He confirms after a long pause. He looks at the clock ten minutes had passed he should get this done by then.

"How old is he?"

"He's not a baby." He sasses he noticed the way he easses up as if he was no longer stressed.

"Can I talk to him?"

"No."

"Terry-"

"He's not here. He's at his friends house." He didn't know if that was true Ace was all over the place sometimes.

Steve nodded thinking. He needed something to know his mom just said not to worry about it. His dad was worse

"When is he coming back?"

"Don't know."

"He looks nothing like my dad. He looks more like me surprisingly." He laughs trying to get Terry to ease up. "Your siblings it's natural."

"Do we have anything in common besides good looks?"

"Funny," Terry smirks looking for an exit.

"I got a pie in the oven you should go."

"Can you at least tell me when we could talk?" Terry opened the door surprised. Steve shifted back thinking he was going to get slapped only for Terry to walk past him.

Steve looked back and saw the boy he met in the hospital. He seemed perfectly fine from when he first saw him. He smiled seeing Terrace bend down and hug him Ace protested when Terry kissed his face.
