You know the term ‘freshman 15′? Essentially it means the first couple of pounds gained during the first year post secondary. There should be a term with the same context applied to the first couple of months/year of exclusive dating. The first dates are always in restaurant, maybe over a couple or five drinks, then #netflixandchilling, to sleeping in & brunching every weekend...it starts to add up (pounds). Now that Cole & I live together, the struggle is truly real when it comes to our daily meals. We want to eat organic and lean but time is never on our side especially when you live in Toronto, where the abundance of amazing restaurants are high. Pinterest & Buzzfeed make healthy meal planning look so godamn easy and affordable! It’s not always rainbows and sunshine when your kitchen and patience is small. So on most days #pizza will always be the wise choice. In lieu of today’s impending dining conundrum, I’ve compiled a list of pro’s and cons of dining in vs dining out...also because we (Cole & I) ask eachother the same question literally at everyday ‘babe, what do you want to eat’?

Time! At the end of the day all I want to do is literally netflix & chill...not that kind of ‘netflix & chill’ ...maybe!
Patience..is in short supply therefore leading to hanger
Indecisive - we at times can’t seem to agree..so it’s always pasta
No worries about compromising as we get to order whatever we want
Time, you can easily dedicate half an hour and be somewhat reassured that the food will be yummy!
Trying new things around the city
Money $20 -$30 can buy some apples & oranges & dinner for the next couple of days
There’s never enough food, so very little leftovers/lunch
Lazy, at the end of the work day all I want to do is take off my bra & keep it that way for the rest of the night.
