neil and matt have matching crocs. it started as a joke because a few of the foxes (mainly matt) noticed their fastest striker didn’t have slippers and andrew refused to introduce neil to them (neil didn’t deem them necessary). so, matt and the girls went out and got neil a pair of crocs in the brightest orange available, and handed them to neil as a present.

the catch is that neil actually, genuinely likes wearing them — he thinks they’re super comfy and the shit. neil doesn’t the problem when andrew continuously glares at them and refuses to throw them away when kevin makes a comment about them. he gets super attached to them and even takes them to away-games to wear them in the shower. they all thinks it’s ridiculous but are super fond of neil and his hideous crocs.
