          “why CLOUD? it could have been ANYONE why did it have to be HIM?”

          “maybe i should have recruited SORA instead of BAYONETTA.”

                     “ SPELLS ? ” spells aren’t really her department ; sure she had some colleagues who DABBLED with it in the human world, but never actually considered using it to her own benefit. “ that’s probably the only thing i haven’t TRIED yet… but no it’s not my thing and it probably NEVER will be. ” considering what she is. “ oh well. it’s fine i GUESS, i’ve grown a custom to the nightmares ; they don’t seem to be going away any time soon so why not just get USED to them being around, ya know ? ” and not getting any sleep.

                         astaroth hummed, “they’re not for EVERYONE, i suppose.” they did tend to backfire anyway. well, he’d learned to manipulate it to a degree, but they wouldn’t be of much help with things to this degree unless she wanted to lose her memory completely. “well, hopefully if you get USED to them and they won’t be so bad. like TORTURE.” at that he knows that he has said far too much and shakes his head. “or anything TERRIBLE really. so long as nothing GOOD disrupts the pattern, you’ll get NUMB to it eventually.”

                     “ yeah i gave that a shot and didn’t really work out… for other people. ” she’ll just leave it at that. it was surprising he was CURIOUS of her own nightmares, for a moment she thought he didn’t even care. “ mostly of the HORRIBLE shit i’ve done… except more GRAPHIC. other times it can be meeting my family and them HATING me for what i’ve done to people… you know,  just DUMB SHIT ! ”

                         “that sounds like a THEM problem.” he hadn’t expected her reply to be so . . . close to HOME. “and that sounds about like the average shitty nightmare. have you tried any SPELLS for that? or is that not your thing?” they only worked to a degree, he DOUBTED that they would help her much.

                   she listens intently almost not believing him for a second. it has to be MORE than that, but it’s not really any of her business. there’s a part of her that would continue to pry about it        to just figure out what’s making him TICK. but she resists. “ well… least you don’t deal with nightmares every night… ” a pause followed by an exasperated sigh.  “ i’m sorry… not really good with the whole COMFORT thing…” 

                         “have you tried NOT sleeping? it works wonders.” not really. he’s suffering because of it. the response is an indirect answer to her previous question but he strays away from that for now. “that’s fine. i wasn’t SEEKING any. but what haunts your dreams so badly? or is that OFF LIMITS?”

· · · · · · · · · · ·a sigh escapes. that was a normal reaction on his part. but it’s not her FAULT she didn’t find it humorous she just has a different sens of HUMOR. her head turns at him hearing the mention of lack of sleep. looks like they’re in the same boat. “ heh… what’s been keeping you up ? ” probably stress.

                          he tenses slightly at the question, there’s a very long LIST of reasons playing through his mind and most he wouldn’t talk about to anyone except. . . well, that didn’t matter now. “i’ve never slept normally. i DESTROYED my sleep schedule two hundred years ago so I could sleep an hour a week and spend the rest of the time working.”

My muse will then react to it being spread.

                     “       that’s probably the DUMBEST thing i’ve heard all day. congrats. ”  she ain’t dealing with such nonsense. “ what the hell made you think of something like that ? ”

                         “wow FUCK you too.” that was probably an overreaction but he thought it was funny. then again this was his third day without sleep. “a lack of sleep and being unemployed.”
